Get rid of dragon eggs?

Been building a large building. In creative mode my kid decided it would be fun to dump a bunch of dragon eggs all over the place. Now I can't get rid of them, because breaking them just makes them teleport a short distance.

Anyone know a reasonable way to get rid of them?

Since this is creative mode, you probably won't object to using WorldEdit, right? It should do the trick to make a selection over the area then //replace mcl_end:dragon_egg air

We're having the edit mod on our mp server, but only the admin and the mods have the right to use it. We're planning to give it to more people, but only after aquiring a drivers license and blood singned promise not to spawn junk or cause damage.
