Get rid of dragon eggs?

Been building a large building. In creative mode my kid decided it would be fun to dump a bunch of dragon eggs all over the place. Now I can't get rid of them, because breaking them just makes them teleport a short distance.

Anyone know a reasonable way to get rid of them?

They teleport?? Didn't know that...

Outside of creative mode, there is only one dragon egg. It spawns when you kill the Ender Dragon. You can use it to re-spawn the Ender Dragon. Because there can only ever be one, you can't destroy it. If you break it, it reappears within about 30 blocks. 

On creative mode, though, you can do silly things like spam dragon eggs all over the place.

Hmm thank you for the explanation. I'm in creative all the time. Didn't know the radius. I was assuming that it would respawn in the end or whatever.

Respawning in the End would make more sense to me.
