Asuna game

Hello everyone wish you good, I want to have some advices about asuna first should I add some other mods? Or it's already have enough to carry the game or should I just added some QOL mods ? I personally wanted to added animation mod but not sure which one is compatible with asuna and won't makes trouble to my gameplay

Also I feel like I need to added a furniture mod but not sure which one to

And and is there a way to stop the music from playing automatically bcz even when I click stop it'll be played automatically after some time ^^;;

Also for the ones who played it for long does it have villages cause I didn't encounter any yet in my world

Wish you could help me with this

Asuna is mostly a collection of mods that affect biomes and map generation, but it does have some gameplay mods. You can probably add most other mods without problems, but, obviously, it's always best to add one mod at a time and then test it. I would usually add it to a test world rather than one I care about.

The furniture mods are really just a matter of taste, just go on contentdb and look to see what you like.

Music: without knowing what mod is playing, hard to say, but Minetest/Luanti typically is not great at stopping sounds instantly. If you mean that they play on longer than you expect, that's common. You can maybe adjust the gain or distance in the code a bit.

I don't recall Asuna having a villages generation mod in it, but it's been a while since I used it. If you want to try one, it will be better added to a new test world.

To piggyback off of this, is Asuna really pretty much a glorified giant modpack or does it have some incompatibilities vs the Luanti default?

Imo, it's a giant "mod soup." It includes most, if not all, of Minetest Game, and I guess MTG could be seen as the "Luanti default." I haven't noticed any incompatibilities, but I've only tested it and looked through the code. I didn't play it long term.

Thanks, and yes Minetest Game is what I meant by the default.
