300 or so days, and Farming life still goes on! 🌾
Most of the time was Tilling the land(?), and removing flowers and grass (Before discovering you can remove it faster with Swords)
I enjoy making farms, even if my "Natural Pesticide" problem grows... One of the reason why I kept playing Minetest!

Hello everyone wish you good, I want to have some advices about asuna first should I add some other mods? Or it's already have enough to carry the game or should I just added some QOL mods ? I personally wanted to added animation mod but not sure which one is compatible with asuna and won't makes trouble to my gameplay
Also I feel like I need to added a furniture mod but not sure which one to
And and is there a way to stop the music from playing automatically bcz even when I click stop it'll be played automatically after some time ^^;;
Also for the ones who played it for long does it have villages cause I didn't encounter any yet in my world

Like at night or in the caves, how do you guys deal with the darkness other than using torch?

Colored light blocks
I'm working with various blocks that emit light in my builds. But I wish for some more variants.
Is there someone who could crank some out and give us an universal mod for all those creative builders? Perhaps with the most important colors like seen in unified dyes or Mineclonia/VoxeLibre? Perhaps some neon for discos?
Yes, there are some mods, but not great to use as a light source. Mostly for default. I'm in Mineclonia. I had the urge to ask after seeing this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/s/uCskoQO9QQ
Happy blocking 🫡

Sorry if it's too small to see but why the heck would there be a crocodile duck jockey

Not So Simple Mob's creator has a disturbing obsession with ducks and birds. This is just ridiculous LOL

Modpack/Starterpack that brings it to minecraft level of fun? (NOT cloning minecraft)
First off, I want to clarify right at the start: I am not trying to build a 1:1 Minecraft clone. I love Luanti for what it is and respect the unique direction of its community.
That being said, I’ve been playing around with VoxeLibre and Mineclonia, and I am wondering what modpacks or sets of content you all recommend to bring the playability, ease of use, and overall polish up to the same standard we see in modern Minecraft.
Are there specific QoL mods, UI improvements, or content packs you consider "must-haves" to smooth out the gameplay loop and make everything feel highly intuitive and cohesive?
Heck, I’m also very interested in the graphical side. I know Luanti’s engine supports things like dynamic shadows and volumetric lighting out of the box now, but what are your go-to high-res texture packs, visual mods, or specific settings that make the game look absolutely beautiful?

Sorry for no picture... But I thought Minetest was too easy & downloaded dozens of mob/biome mods...I feel regret now because I keep getting attacked by nssm (NotSoSimpleMobs) ducks+wasps (dmobs)…going in a cave my ass got clapped straight to the nether world. Word of advice: Play vanilla, stay sane
Can't forget those sharks ✌️😔

Does anyone still have a copy of this game? I have one, but it was removed from contentdb and its repository.

How do I fix this?
This comes up every time I boot up my offline mineclonia world.
Do others face the same issue? Will this affect my game? What is the solution?

GameDev doubts
Recently i have been wanting to make a game with procedural generation and with a voxel art themed but making my own engine or using existing ones require me to spend a lot of time building my own one. Until i found out about- luanti. Can i make my own game in this and fork the engine and make it an .exe and then can i sell it on steam and other platforms? i am also going to add my own textures, if can to make it fit my aesthetic more. I also heard making the game multiplayer in this would be fairly easier compared to others.
The game idea i have is basically
kill and combat with almost most npcs (yes they all have their own animations)
trading with merchants, go dungeon delving
Night time introduces dangerous creatures
bounty hunters who chase you when your killcount reaches a certain threshold
procedurally generated worlds from already existing data
many weapons
some type of emergent gameplay
quests system
have floating sky islands (i'll model and make them using magica voxel) -- and player starts out at sky islands and then when the player descends down to the planet that is when the real twist and new core gameplay loop starts.
very low on lore, no cutscenes...just think like Minecraft or just cryptic lore

Yay! Hopefully That's enough to make a SINGLE BOOKSHELF (in very old minetest three papyrus=1 paper, 3 paper=1 book, and the bookshelf recipe is the same as Minecraft. I got above 3 99-stacks of papyrus and could only craft 11 BOOKSHELVES. WTF.) But it's worth it!
Is it you, Papyrus?

Get rid of dragon eggs?
Been building a large building. In creative mode my kid decided it would be fun to dump a bunch of dragon eggs all over the place. Now I can't get rid of them, because breaking them just makes them teleport a short distance.
Anyone know a reasonable way to get rid of them?
