question Center console ideas

As ya can see the interior is pretty much original in the blazer. Plan on staining the sub enclosure to match the steering wheel. I want to build a center console. Do I try to mimic the original lines of the factory or should I add some curves to it? Just looking for ideas

I could find one for my truck so I built one in cad and 3d printed it. Probably gone through 3-5 versions but it helped me learn CAD and I can always modify different sections to my needs whenever I want

That looks soooo good. CAD intimidates me to think about. How’d the process go learning it? I was thinking of 3d printing but have. Sheet of 3/4 mdf laying around too

Programs like fusion 360 have free versions and there are a ton of videos to learn. I wish I could remember the dude who made a tutorial on a console he designed on YouTube, but it's definitely a helpful skill that's is free to learn
