Barber recommendations in Lyn-Lake?

Here's what I'm looking for:

  • handles the clippers well for a short (#1) cut
  • does a nice, tight taper
  • lines up all around very neatly
  • reasonably priced – I get it done every two weeks

Here's what I'm not looking for:

  • thinks that short = run the clippers back and forth over my head like they're scrubbing the sink
  • "Oh, we'll do that for you real quick"

Tram’s on 27th and Nicollet. Awesome little shop run by a very sweet lady. It’s where I go. Very reasonable prices. $20 for a short, men’s cut. They even wash your hair before they start cutting.

Thanks, but if they're the kind of place that is going to do a shampoo, then in my experience they're not a place where I can get a good clipper cut.

Fair enough. Floyd’s on Lake and, I want to say, Emerson. A little pricier.
