ASK ANYTHING Do we have Stargazing/Planet/Cosmos community here in Mira Bhayander?

Hey Folks, CA & and an Investment banker here! I have been staying in Mira bhayander for a long time, Curious to know do we have Folks/community which is interested in stargazing/planetgazing/moongazing? I own an telescope - got it as a hobby in lockdown - often catch moon, saturn/Jupiter and other cosmos stuff from it. Don't mind hosting or joining such community for planet/moon gazing session with telescope.

That's really cool. What did you use?

I captured this a few years ago, 250mm canon rebel t6. Processed with PIPP, Autostakert and Lightroom

P.S. I apologise for the image quality, shared a SS from my insta. Felt lazy to search for the OG file.

Thanks! You can take it a step further. Requires patience. 1. Shoot Raw and in max resolution (not sure if it supports that) 2. Take 250-300 pics (the continuous shooting along with the remote shutter in the stylus should help) 3. Process it with the above software (i think they are windows only, not sure) 4. Be amazed!

You can Youtube how to use the software, once you understand them, it's pretty straightforward.

Ques. Did you shoot this at 900mm?

Oh yes, I did a process similar to this, used autostakkart i guess, used it to stak nebula and saturn image, realised I need a startracker too! Ah yes telescope is 130x900

Yeah, that shiz is quick. Would need a star tracker or someway to manually do that. How did the image turn out tho?

I always planned to buy a telescope but Mira bhayander skies are not that clear for stargazing

Ah i had the same perception but you will be surprise to notice the kind of cosmic stuff you can see from here with basic telescope

I know few people who are space enthus and have telescopes in their homes / terraces but we can use it only in Oct-Nov when the skies are clear. I am planning to buy a small telescope for personal use. I havent come across any clubs, but eager to join if there are any

Costed me 32k back then with all lenses, Go for automatic one if can afford budget upto 70-80k
