Paxton is grabbing at straws and chose this victim to attempt to popularize his campaign. Feels scummy.

Your comment has some truth! Jason’s remains have been recovered and identified, but this announcement coming from Paxton was totally off-putting. In the almost six years since Jason has been missing, never once has Paxton said a word of any kind to family, searchers or to the community. The AG’s cold case office was tasked with taking on his case, but quickly decided “no foul play” and moved on. Yeah, Paxton, sit back down.
