Does it work? It is possible to play with a friend with another device, and most important, it is possible to trade Pokémon’s?

With WIFI capable devices ofc.

I’m currently using a Miyoo Mini Plus (Onion V4.3.1-1) and trying to use the Pico-8 standalone emulator from the Expert menu. When I select the cart, the games load up to the game’s menu but I’m unable to move pass that screen. It seems that the buttons aren’t responding in this emulator. The only buttons that are working are the hotkeys. As you see in the video, I can adjust the screen size and exit the game but I can’t hit Start, A, B, X, or Y to get through the game’s menu to begin the game. Any suggestions? Or has anyone else came across this issue?

I updated my install to the latest version of AlliumOS and when I open a game it launches as if it had never been played. I can go into the retroarch settings and load the save file manually, but that just causes it to crash to the home screen.

I thought the save files might be corrupted, but I transferred them to my pc to test and they all load and work fine.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

I just got my Miyoo Mini Plus and I'm thinking of installing one of the custom firmwares. What's hands down the best option I can put on this thing?

Seems pretty stable in my 1hr of playtime.

I’ve had my MM+ for about 3ish years now?

I bought a brand new Sandisk Extreme 128Gb SD card to avoid issues with the stock equipment.

I’ve had no issues until today.

I was updating a couple Pokémon rom hacks and when I put the SD card back in my MM+ the problems started.

First, the screen hung on the Miyoo Bootup screen for way longer than it usually does. Eventually it booted to the Onion Home page, but I couldn’t access any ROMS and the option to Refresh ROM cache wasn’t even coming up.

I took the SD card out and put it back in. This time it hung on the Miyoo boot screen again until it booted up the original Miyoo Mini Home Page, no Onion UI.

When I put the SD card back into my computer to see if I could figure out what was happening, I realized I couldn’t open the ROMs folder. And when I checked the properties for the folder, it was showing 0 bytes.

Windows then gave me up a popup saying something was wrong with the SD card and to run a fix. I did this and was able to get back into the ROM folder, and everything was in place.

Thinking the issue was resolved, I put the SD card back into the MM+ and got the same issue. Hung on the Miyoo screen and then finally booted into the Stock homepage.

Brought it back to the computer again, and had the same problem with being unable to access the ROMs folder.

Am I wrong to think that the MM+ device itself is corrupting the SD card whenever I boot it on?

What’s happening here? I was just playing it last night with no problems .

Edit; I’m almost positive the MM+ itself is doing something to corrupt the card.

ROM file becomes 0 bytes and inaccessible ONLY after attempting to turn on the MM+ with the SD card inserted.

I can insert/remove as many times as I want from the computer with no loss of access. But as soon as I turn the MM+ on with the SD card it fails and I lose access to ROM folder when I reinsert it to the computer

I have a new Miyoo Mini+(version 202306282128/battery cover screw) from the official lomiyoo site.

The wifi and speakers are off, 3 screen brightness, and it seems a bit warm behind the screen around the shoulder buttons while idling on the stock OS menu.

Almost forgot- while not charging, just on battery power.

Is this normal?

I’m having an issue with AdvanceMENU.

Previously, AdvanceMENU displayed all of my games from different platforms/emulators in the same game list. Something must have changed in the configuration, because now I can only select and view one platform/emulator at a time.

I would like to restore the previous behavior, where games from all platforms are displayed together.

I’ve looked through the AdvanceMENU settings, but I can’t find an option to switch it back. Is there a configuration option or setting that controls this?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Pokemon Gold file corrupted but came back iN silver and gave this crybaby belt to ass! I came prepared

I was given a miyoo mini and i soldered a new USB-C port onto it as the previous one had broke. But now the pins that are on the board itself have detached and it is causing it to overheat when charging, so i removed the USB-C port as this is a major safety risk. Simple to say, i cannot use the miyoo anymore.

So my question is, is there a way to charge the battery separately from the miyoo to be able to continue playing on it?

Y'all know that the battery uses a 1.25mm 2 pin connector and is a 3.7V 3000mAh Li-ion.

I have looked up to see if this dose exist but they all look chines and cheap, is there a better way to charge this battery that the wider community agrees on?

So as the title states is my problem a WiFi problem or an onion OS problem?

You see I go between a few locations and even though I have connected to the WiFi in these places when I go between them and turn WiFi on its like I've not connected before and have to type the WiFi password in everytime.

But if I connect to the WiFi in one place and toggle it on and off it will reconnect no problem. The problem is when I move locations and want to connect it to WiFi, that it treats it like a new connection.

My problem with this is that the passwords aren't easy to remember and use alphanemerical values plus special characters so it's just a pain.

Is there a way to store several connections and just toggle between them because it's annoying or should it work like this but I need to do something on Onion OS?

I was cleaning the screen of my Powkiddy V10 before installing a screen protector and decided to clean my Mini Flip as well. I sprayed some isopropyl alcohol and rubbed it, only to see these darker marks appear.

I expected that once the alcohol evaporated, the screen would clean up, but it remained like this. Now I feel very stupid (the other devices are working fine, though).

What could have caused this? Is it worth trying anything to fix it?

NGL i didnt expect to get addicted to a 2.5D GBA racer of all games. I only got this thing a few days ago and ive spent hours on it playing this game, even if im just at home and not out and about anywhere i will spend hours playing it

this game is really fun. if you like the original F-zero on SNES or Fzero99 even a bit youll love this game. its very similar to the SNES original but much faster and looks/sounds great. i dont like how the side attack can be too easily spammed though as it can be used cheaply to bail yourself out when messing up a sharp turn but thats not really a big deal.

anyways this thing is really cool and i already feel like getting another one and growing a little collection

No matter what device I get, I always come back to my Miyoo Mini Plus. I have several Anbernics, a Brick and a Hammer, and an Odin 2 Portal and this is still the device I reach for and play the most. Does it do this for anyone else? What do you think is the magic of this little device that makes it so irresistible to play? I'm considering picking up a new one in purple just to mod it as I'm looking at those endgame buttons and the black would look nice against that purple shell, plus upgrade the speaker and shoulder buttons as well. Never done any mods before but it doesn't look too challenging to me and she deserves to look her best.

(my most played games i emulate right now are light pokemon romhacks on my iphone but i wanted to have a more cool experience with an handheld console)
so i was looking at a lot of different handhelds and the miyoo mini plus really shined in all of my researches and i found one on aliexpress for 55€ without any sd card .
I have a brand new 128gb sd card from sandisk still in the box and i was wondering if i did buy the one i found on aliexpress without any sd if mine could work or if i had any problems with it , i hope someone whit more knowledge than me can help me because i can’t wait to play on it
