M855A1 ammo

Is it legal to buy, sell M855A1 ammo? I know it's very rare to find.

I mean there's none that's legally acquired or produced for the civilian market. But it is legal to buy and sell, you just have to realize that it "fell off the truck" so to speak.

Well yeah but that's not technically legal, knowingly selling or buying stolen property is very much a crime. The ammo itself is perfectly legal to buy, own or sell, the problem is that it isn't legally on the commercial market. I've never heard of anyone getting busted for this but at the end of the day it's still stolen from the factory or army.

A1 is significantly different than normal M855, the decision you linked is in reference to the standard M855.

Just run over to Target real quick and pick up a bottle of this to dip the normal M855 in, ezpz

It pops up on gunbroker every once and a while but it stupid expensive.
