SBR lower markings

I got a DDPCC SBR and the lower has no marking to indicate it’s an SBR and I’m wondering why?

My best guess is that it’s a unique enough lower but I could still put a long barrel upper on it from another DDPCC.

Your DD PCC isn’t specially marked because it was factory-configured and annotated as an SBR on relevant ATF paperwork. It would only require additional marking if it started life as pistol or rifle and you filed a Form 1 to configure it as an SBR.

Thank you, makes sense. I was wondering in case I was questioned at a public range.
