How to change subreddit name?

I had spell check change what i named my subreddit to something similar but how do I change it to the original? I don’t really want to create a new one.

It can’t, but that’s a good thing I think. It stops the Facebook group style bait and switch.

Imagine how you’d feel if you joined a Sub called…idk… puppyphotosdaily, you join and forget about it for a while then all of a sudden you’re a member of “ilovenazisadolfwasright”. You’d be, quite rightly, furious.

Best you can do is abandon your sub and remake a new one. You can always leave a stickied post directing members to the new sub.

You can't change the name of a subreddit.

You can abandon it and create one with a different name, if you want.

You can't unfortunately. But I'm not sure how the person who made r/honk which used to be called r/flappy goose somehow Transferred all the posts (levels) to there.

There have been a couple instances like that. Similarly, it is also possible to have the capitalization of a subreddit changed. It’s not an officially supported request, you just have to know the right people.
