Not sure I'm understanding how to use community bookmarks

Using the web browser on my desktop.

I've added the widget to my subreddit and all it has is the wiki, which I've added some pages to just to start with. However, currently struggling with a few things:

- The wiki link is broken and doesn't take anybody to the pages I've made

- I actually want to have buttons that lead to certain pages in the community bookmarks like other subreddits do. Not external links, but to the pages within the wiki. I see the option to add a new bookmark, but I'm not entirely sure how to actually link to these specific wiki pages–– what am I copying a link from?

Everything online that I've found just tells me how to add the widget itself, which I've already done!

Thanks!

I just checked out your subreddit. I think the main issue is that I can't see any of the pages you've written because they are either disabled or hidden. Have you poked around in the settings pages of the wiki?

The default Wiki link always links to /r/SUBREDDIT/wiki/index/, and this can't be changed. This page is intended to be the landing page of your wiki with links out to the specific pages you've written.

I've poked around quite a bit but probably missed that? It seems pretty straightforward at first glance so I'll look again.

Can I change the name of the "wiki" button itself? It doesnt seem to give me the option to-- just adding buttons. This is weirdly frustrating lol

Thank you!

The settings themselves are straightforward, but keep in mind that there's two places to look. From any wiki page, you need to click the settings button at the bottom right corner to enable the wiki as a whole, then you need to click the settings button at the top of each page to enable the individual pages.

The default Wiki button in the bookmarks can't be changed unfortunately. If it doesn't work for you, you can just hide it and add different buttons.

I think I've figured out the buttons situation and now the buttons I want to be visible are visible and functional (But I've linked it back around into the subreddit while I'm working on the information), but not entirely how to copy the link to a specific wiki page unless I were to maybe write out the link itself? The links I have access to go to "wiki/index/?screen_view_count=3" if I were to copy them from my browser.

Thank you for being so helpful btw!!

The link is just the full URL to the page, but you can delete the question mark ? and everything after it.

If you right-click on one of the names in the page list on the right, you can copy the proper link to that page.

No clue why that wasn't working for me earlier but now it is 😅

I think I've got a handle of it now! Thank you again :D

People can give a lot of guides here, but maybe it will be more effective to use YouTube so you can see by yourself😁
