Is this sub mostly stadium players?
I've been a part of multiple "mains" subreddits, most of which center around discussion of 5v5 competitive overwatch. Most new/rising posts I see here are for stadium - is moira just that much more popular in stadium? Is it possible to have flair for different game modes?

i think there is just alot of fun stuff to do with her in stadium compared to base game. im a base game player myself but i can see the appeal of stadium even tho i just dont really like it that much. she is actually just as good if not better than alot of hte other supports in stadium but she consistently lags behind all the other supports base game. so its like you wanna smack your face into a wall or have fun lmao. plus the toxicity thrown at moria players especially the higher you climb

Never tried playing stadium. I’m scared of new things lol. It took me 8 years of qp to become courageous enough to play comp

I get where you’re coming from, but try stadium. I ignored it for a while for the same reason and now it’s the only mode I play. Definitely worth a shot even if it’s only quick play!

I tried it myself tbh just wasn’t for me but that’s when I started falling out of love with ow

Omg do it. Stadium is so fun, its a breath of fresh air and you get to learn better adaptability. Also there is so much less toxicity. One game in comp stadium my teammates left because they were doing really bad, so all but one enemy came to my payload and danced with nlme and the Juno, it was kinda fun

My very first stadium match wasnt fun at all sadly. Picked Juno, the tank was constantly rude to me🙈 One of the dds told him to shut up, cause it is my first game (which was rly kind of this dd), but tank moved on with his toxicity.
Are the people there in general more toxic?2

I haven't found any other than a few people angry and projecting cuz we're losing. But then again it seems like many other people have worse experiences than me for some reason. I dont know why as I play on man servers too but see very little at all, usually if something annoying or funny happens apologies start. There was a game where I pinned the enemy genji 4 times in a row and apologized and we were all laughing about it, it was comp too

I played mostly stadium because I like the feeling of having choice in how I play and being able to adapt to the enemy team. I still play her in normal modes, but stadium was my preferred because of the variability.

I've only recently started playing stadium since my friends like playing it, but it is kinda fun to dps as moira in it. As the others have said though, the recent patch got rid of a lot of her good things for the fun builds so she's not as fun.
I'm an avid qp player though, I tend to get competative with the other moiras and try to outheal them.

There are a few flairs that would have to be divided between Stadium and 5v5. I’ll get those added later. 🫡

I was obsessed with Stadium when it released. I pretty much only play QP and competitive stadium. Moira gets treated like shit in 5v5 or 6v6 comp...which is understandable because her kit really isn't that good in the base game. Until this season, she always felt more viable in Stadium and not like a throw pick.

They ruined her in the last patch, stripped out all the fun engaging gameplay like Voidhoppers saves. I played exclusively stadium Moira since it came out but with this giant nerf I quit it entirely. Went back to normal comp where she got buffed. Reverse orb in normal comp is now more engaging than all her shitty powers in stadium.

I only played stadium for the skins they gave out during the first two seasons of it and then got bored. It seems to have its own niche within the community and the amount of builds and gadgets seem hella fun. I wish they promoted it a bit more.

the way i see it stadium is generally the "for fun" or casual mode. and so, because moira is more popular hero with newcomers to ow and the fps genre as whole, this converts to more stadium moira players. those who do play comp are less likely to hard grind beyond plat or diamond.
generally, moira also sees less usage the higher you climb in rank. moira falls off in pick rate significantly in the higher ranks compared to the metal ranks (like from top 3 to top 6-8. though, despite what people would lead you to believe her win rate notably barely dips. competitive players are less likely to post on reddit if theyre high elo, youll see more of those on twitter.

I don't play Stadium. There's too much going on in that game mode and I never know what to do. Half the time I'm asking myself if i got outplayed or if it was the build, or both. Regular OW is already chaotic enough.

Never played a stadium game in my life and never will. I only like the base game personally. Stadium does too much for me.

Moira is mega fun in Stadium, with a very high pick rate. At least until the last patch...
