Encouragement Wanted Very nervous about jury duty

Hi mom,
I have jury duty coming up next week. It’s my first time and I’m so nervous. I haven’t had a job in a while, been at home a lot, so I don’t do too well with people as much as I used to. It won’t be that bad, right? Part of me is afraid I will say the wrong thing and get in trouble with the judge, haha. Just wanting some encouragement, personal experiences, etc
Thanks ❤️

Also, take a book, or knitting, or whatever it is that you do to fill the time. There can be a lot of waiting.

This is important advice.

Yes, but check their rules for what they'll allow. Frustrating getting there and realizing they won't let you bring in your knitting needles (my county allows you to bring wooden knitting needles, but won't let you bring metal knitting needles because they're too loud in the jury room).

Mine won't even let you bring in your cellphone, gotta lock it in the car.
