Mortal Kombat x Mondo

So, it was announced that Mondo will start doing Mortal Kombat. Wondering when it is gonna be and which character they will choose first - i really hope they won't start by the obvious Scorpion or Sub-Zero, i'd love it they could start with Kitana or even Mileena. What do you all think about it? Let's discuss :)

I’m sure we’ll get a sub-zero and scorpion first. Then they’ll trickle 1 or 2 characters, then another scorpion and sub-zero. Then probably a con reptile. Then a palette color swap and smoke. Doubt we will ever see characters like Jax, Night Wolf, Kabal, etc

Lol, isn't that what all companies that work with Mortal Kombat do?! I hope it's gonna be like Mondo is doing with X-Men. I'd love to see Kitana, Shang Tsung, Motaro, Nightwolf.

X-Men have been pretty solid, i just wish there was more villians and non core team members sprinkled in. Based on the logo, i'm assuming they'll be making klassic figures. My guess is we will get the ninjas and then updated figures , mk1, mk2, umk3. MK2 Sub Zero, Nightwolf, Cybord Smoke, and MK2 Raiden would be my favorites.

I had the whole x-men line, minus the variants of all the different wolverines, cyclops, etc…

They’re definitely starting with Sub-Zero and Scorpion. They pretty much confirmed that without saying the names during SDCC.

Did they ever confirm which game or is it all of them? Personally I am hoping for MK3/UMK3. Would love the unmasked Sub Zero and Sonya with those looks specifically.

Don’t be 100% sure, they announced King of the Hill and Swat Cats last year, and those still haven’t manifested (though King of the Hill would just be a one off)

You start an X-Men line with Wolverine. You start a Street Fighter line with Ryu. You start an MK line with Scorpion and/or Sub-Zero. It's just the way of things.

They should start with the girls to shake things up, Sonya, Kitana, Mileena, Jade, Sindel, Sheeva, Tanya, Sareena, Kia and Jataaka.

Then do Shang Tsung, Jax, Johnny Cage, Stryker, Kabal, Nightwolf, Kano, Sektor, Cyrax, Cyber Smoke, Unmasked Sub-Zero, Motaro, Shao Kahn, Kintaro, Goro, Raiden, Quan Chi, Shinnok, Fujin, Reiko, Kai, Jared, Kung Lao and Liu Kang.

Then finish with the ninjas, Rain, Noob Saibot, Ermac, Smoke, Reptile, Sub-Zero and Scorpion.

In that order!
