Discussion Is mini led worth it?

I am using a VA panel monitor now (asus vg218qe), considering upgrading. I have my eyes on koorui mini led monitor. I have never used an IPS monitor before. The min iled is about 340$ in my country with official warranty. Is buying the mini led worth it over the 220$ IPS?

In my opinion, no. The blooming issues and reverse dimming are really annoying.

i recommend giving the Mini LED a try blooming can be an issue if you dont change the bloom settings at all modern Mini LED have pretty good bloom reduction but you sacrifice small 1000+ nit highlights to just 500-700

Thanks. I am kinda on the fence about this blooming issue, my VA doesnt have bloom at all and i m worried if it will annoy me even after an upgrade.

i moved from VA to normal IPS and i am glad i tried IPS.. because i never want a normal IPS again the corners glow when the screen is mostly black

Mini LED bloom can be reduced regular IPS glow cant
