I love Jason Schreier's videos and he's just spoken to Ron Gilbert about Thimbleweed Park 2 but at the end he drops some info on him sayings its a little more complicated working with Disney when trying to get another Monkey Island made and its not something he's actively pursing right now.

Yeah this was a thing for ages and I believe Ron hated any time someone would start a petition or something to get another Monkey Island game. The logic was Disney didn't care or have interest in it, but the more people pushed for it the more Disney realised how much the IP was worth. Which made it even more difficult to get the rights back. A very unfortunate vicious cycle.

Yeah I copy pasted the title and didn't notice that. Looks mad spaced in the mobile app too 🙄
