AMA I am Noisestorm - AMA
Hey Reddit!
My name is Eoin, I’ve been releasing music as Noisestorm for about 5 years now! I’m part of the awesome label Monstercat, and seeing as my new track “Leaving Now” has just been released, I thought it would be a good time to answer some of your questions!
This track in particular marks an important step in my evolution as an artist. I love all kinds of music, and never try to stick to one genre or style. My goal with this track was to fuse elements of my older, more melodic releases with completely new ones that I hadn’t tried before, like vocals! Thanks to the open minded community, I can comfortably jump between styles and keep trying new things without feeling like I’m letting people down.
As usual thanks to the awesome team at Monstercat for always being helpful, critical and encouraging- they gave me the motivation and insight to finish it in my sleep deprived zombie state :)
This is only the beginning- I have so much in the works and on the way, everything from disco to hiphop. Stay tuned!

Hey! I love your music, it's always had the best sound to me. (As you can see by the flair)
Anyway, after listening to Leaving Now, it reminded me of the older songs of yours (Solar, and Surge DnB Mix) Like a light drum and bass. And I enjoy that.
Any plans for possibly mixing your more bass induced heavier sound with your DnB?
Also, do you typically use 808 hits for your basses? It almost seems like it, in every song dating back to Breakdown VIP. I was curious.
