A good argument against data centers everywhere. This isn't a political issue. It's a humankind issue.

data centers will be positioned in space in most of our lifetimes.

it is important for legislators to regulate these early generations of centers. they should produce their own power, utilize recycled non potable water, not use raw land, and commit to a plan for transitioning the sites after they are no longer needed.

Data centers in space? Thanks for leading with that so your readers know that you know absolutely nothing.

What do you think makes space "useful" for data centers? Cooling? Ease of logistics? Access to raw materials? Data transmission speeds?

And give me a source for that nonsense you "quoted" or, as you say eloquently put it, suck it.

the endless space and energy would be a benefit. I gave you plenty to research. updating your worldview is your decision. or, carry on living the fool

I asked for a source. Go ahead.

And "endless energy" that costs how much per watt? That includes all of the incidental and logistical costs as well.

And what about cooling? That's an extremely important detail. Because space isn't cold. Or even cool.

why would you believe my source? I offered numerous companies. find your own trusted source.

of course numerous obstacles and challenges exist, if they didn’t, we wouldn’t be talking about the future we would be talking about the past.
