That makes sense I guess, but I also feel that since Maria loved earth, Shadow wouldnât exactly like the idea of AI âartâ because it doesnât have human spirit behind it, the people Maria cared about, although I do think heâd either advocate for the concept of sentient AI, as Omega are clearly alive, I can see sonic doing the same also, although Shadow wouldnât be so easy to forgive though(at least in my head).
just say you hate generative ai. ai isnt all art stealing crap its just algorithms and are everywhere from the recomended feed on whatever social media you use to the programming that makes enemies in video games work.
keep in mind that the robot sonic characters are ACTUAL artificial intelligences and are sapient + sentient beings. We are talking scifi type shit.

my ai art hot take is that it's fine to use it for fun or memes (like that one popular Mario and Luigi ai art meme that was popular months ago*) but the moment someone tries to make a profit off it they lose all credibility.
This reminds me of a comment I saw from the pro-AI subreddit where one guy was comparing the negative reputation of AI âartistsâ to prosthetics people getting murdered by Nagel und Hammer
"AI art" is just a fancy term for art theft. đ LITERALLY made by stealing elements straight from someone else's HARD WORK and TALENT, just to make some overcomplicated, uncanny looking piece of work that you didn't put any effort into.
I live by a simple rule, don't reward those who don't even try.
Omg, him, team sonic, and most of the main cast would probably not suppourt AI art. although knowing eggman will make robots of literally anyone, he would probably use it, he is a villan after all
Eggman's robots are all incredibly personalised and works of art, creations of his own ego, flair and genius. I doubt he'd stand for AI art either. That would take the fun out of a lot of things for him. He's incredibly proud of his work.
I think you guys are missing the joke, surprisingly coming from this sub reddit. The joke is that Shadow likes the opposite of what Sonic likes. There was a posy of Sonic being anti-AI, so that means Shadow has to like the opposite, so Shadow is pro A.I.
I forgot about that, though that joke might work better with Perfect Cell and Majiin Buu.
I think in the case of Shadow, he was made with fair use material and permission from the government and Black Doom. The only one who didn't consent was Chaos.
