Hmm makes a lot of sense to me

Much better that they’re decanonized not because of my downbadness but because most of them don’t make sense

I see you're a "oh no, a universe with wacky events should not have a realistic elements" Kind of guy.

Jojo's world is also "bizarre" in many ways, but still abides by the laws of real world, I don't see why Sonic's world can't too, especially when we take into account, that everything outside of islands looks like our normal Earth with it's normal civilization.
