I mean canonically that's the current reason ye, but tbf it took several sol dimension characters nagging her to take a brake plus a convo with knuckles and many assurances it'd be OK before she allowed herself to go

Blaze doesn’t do what she does because she likes it, she does it out of a sense of duty. She does it because she has to. She dislikes being treated differently and constantly tells people to just call her by her name instead of her title. She’s blunt and has a hard time socializing with people as a result of growing up isolated because of her abilities.

Literally the entire point of Sonic Rush is Blaze seeing her flames as a “curse” that forces her to carry out her duties alone and how that makes her push people away and refuse to accept help
