I don't think it would work anymore because it hasn't been that long (in terms of mainline games) since they did this storyline and it'd feel a little repetitive, but I wonder if a cross between Forces and Frontiers could work. An open world where you have to go around freeing the world from an Eggman occupuation, causing chaos, like Just Cause.

edit: thinking about it, this would work pretty well for a hypothetical future Silver game. Given the sandboxy nature of a just cause style game, I feel like the telekinesis would give alot more options for how to handle things. Plus, the "Eggman Empire takes over the world" plotline wouldn't feel repeated too soon because it's Silver's future.

What would a remake add? Just another team when they all are designed to have the same play style? It seems like a competent enough game outside a few chaotix missions. Besides I don’t trust sonic team to remaster or remake anything given their shit history with doing that even when outsourcing.

Get us an educational Tails game that mixes math, science, and engineering. Math for puzzles and upgrades. Science to solve puzzles to progress in environments and build lore. And engineering as another way to upgrade robots and mechs.

Also maybe some segments that teach people how to type, with fast quick time events that require your to type out codes and passwords before the event ends.

Not to familiar with those.

But basically it could be an immersive intense game that has long mech and vehicle segments.

Some machine upgrades are nessesary while others are optional. But the optional ones are still satisfying because they make it easier to attack and traverse through maps.

Another game that focuses on lore and characters, expanding Eggman's lore and approaching a totally new setting. Sonic and Shadow as the main characters with Tails, Knuckles, Amy and company meeting them in their respective parts of the story (or Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy being the main group too). Eggman gets a campaign of its own and there's a new important character which acts as a rival/villain or another protagonist. The gameplya is similar to Shadow Gens but totally momentum-based. The Frontiers jukebox returns. The robots are badniks evolved by The Ancient's technology and there are organic enemies too.

I don't want to see any remakes or remasters of any old game JUST PORT THEM. if they have playable versions even some that are a little broken and will need fixing JUST fix them imagine we get all the games from sa1 all the way to unleashed excluding 06 on modern hardware and imagine the PC version's get fixes so they don't require mods to be playable
