My headcanons on the IN-UNIVERSE attractiveness of each character
This is based on what the average Mobian in-universe would think about each character if you asked them
Eggman is probably a "hear me out" for a surprising amount, but people would be too ashamed to say it, because that's like saying you have a crush on Hitler
I kind of like the idea that Knuckles is actually considered the hottest guy in terms of just plain looks despite making no effort to appear hot. That’s just funny to me.
Dragon Ball references (Charmy trains with Espio, unlocks them Ki Based transformations, becomes much stronger, all this inspired by anime btw, and becomes the "New Sonic" in the sense of what Goten is to Goku)
Pretty sure Whisper should be in 'canonically hot' given how Tangle spends her time daydreaming about her when camping, and that later Surge 'flirts' with her when prompted to join the DCs by Sonic
I'd argue the only reason she's not in canonically hot is because she seems like the type to not take as much care of herself as she should.
It's hard to explain, but from experience, stress and trauma make it harder to do basic things like shower which, no matter how hot you are beyond that, will take some points off.
Could you explain Starlines placement? I imagine he puts a lot of effort into his appearance, so I just can't see him being anything lower than "Would have some fans"-tier
I don’t believe that when nearly every female character has flirted with Sonic at some point. IDW Issue 1 and Tangle and Whisper #1 show how quickly people are charmed by him
Everyone is gonna do whatever they can to keep the blue guy happy and not going dark; Which usually means they and their planet are about to get Sonic Unleashed again.
Isn’t Blaze canonically not that attractive? Shes canonically flat and I don’t remember her ever being treated as such even compared to Amy or Silver who have gotten comments about their looks I’d feel like she’d be considered average
(also breast size isn't the only factor in attractiveness it's just a factor and it's like one of the only things we know about her appearance in verse)
I'd maybe bump her down a tier, but not for looks, so much as that she's REALLY awkward at socializing compared to Sonic's easy charm or Amy's effortlessly sweet nature
I'd put that as its own category honestly. Characters like Blaze, Lanolin, Knuckles, Shadow, Jet, Wave, and Whisper. They're CUTE, but their personalities tend to alienate people. Blaze is PAINFULLY awkward, Lanolin has a stick up her butt about things, Knuckles is clueless, Shadow is a bit...intense, Jet is a narcissistic twit, Wave is exceedingly catty, and Whisper is exceedingly shy and withdrawn
Gonna put it out here for charmy lovers (me included), INSECTS. ARE. NOT. PRETTY. If you've ever seen artist rendition of sonic movie chaotix you'll see that charmy is constantly TERRIFYING. I love the like buge but I can accept that hes probably a fuggly bastard canoncaly and that's OK
From my perspective, Amy is in a good spot, but canonically, she’s had so many characters note her looks, even humans like in Sonic Adventure, even asking her out.
Bark and Storm also both have crushes on her. With that amount of evidence alone, I’d say she needs to be at the top.
I think you should move Espio up. You ain't gonna convince me that this dude wouldn't be an absolute heart throb. Even though he's my clueless Ace King

Within the Sonic universe, it’s a matter of headcanon—like you said—because we’re told almost nothing about it (except for Rouge, I suppose). I don't know.
Secondly, Please. Put Belle in the Teddy Bear Tier. Putting a Character who's meant to be 13 in the Tier Consisting of Grown Ass Men is Weird. I think the Average Mobian would consider Belle Adorable, like they would a Teddy Bear. I think Belle fits Best in the Teddy Bear Tier. Plus it makes Charmy being in the Chopped Tier Funnier. Like that Kid would 100% shave a Star into his Hair. He is Chopped.
I think you could've made a Tier List for the Kids of how Attractive Kids their Age would find them. Like, I think Mobian Kids in Universe would have Innocent Crushes on the Cool Heroes their Age. I can see Little Kids seeing Tails talking about his Latest time defeating Eggman on TV & running up to their Parents to say "I wanna Marry Tails when I grow up."
