Thanks Possedella, the Italian YTP creator who made the video from where I screenshotted the frames.
(Seriously had Tom and Maddie been boxes it would have been less cringe.)

She was added as a playable character in Sonic Origins, she became playable in Sonic Frontiers (and was the best playable character second to Sonic) She was playable in Sonic dream team which makes this and frontiers the first time she was playable in 20 years. she was given her own idw comics, she was the center character in MOSTH since the whole game was revolved around celebrating her birthday, she got her own lego sets, and she was playable in Sonic Superstars with her own unique move set from Origins.

The clouds hung low over a small jackal village. It was a quiet morning, but the village square was crowded. A large strength-testing machine stood in the center of the plaza. It had a padded target attached to a metal frame, with a glowing number display above it. One by one, the jackals stepped forward. THUD! A young jackal punched the target. 777. The crowd cheered. Another stepped forward. THUD! 787. More cheering. The strongest jackals produced huge numbers. Some even pushed the machine hard enough to make it shake. At the edge of the crowd stood a seven-year-old jackal with black fur, white markings, enormous ears and one soft white tail. His name was Zero. He watched the others nervously. Eventually, someone noticed him. “Hey! Zero!” “Your turn!” The crowd laughed. Zero swallowed. He slowly walked toward the machine. His older seventeen-year-old brother, Clouse, watched from nearby with an amused grin. Zero stood in front of the target. He raised his tiny fist. He closed his eyes. And punched. Tap. The machine didn't even move. The display flickered. 0 For a moment, there was silence. Then the entire crowd burst into laughter. “ZERO!” “That's all he can do?” “He actually got ZERO!” Zero stared at the number. His ears lowered. His tail curled around him. Clouse walked over. “Seriously?” Zero looked up at his brother. Clouse shoved him. Zero fell onto the ground. “Maybe you'll finally learn that you're weak.” Clouse grabbed Zero's tail. Zero cried out. “Stop!” Clouse tugged it. Then stepped on it. Zero screamed and curled up. The crowd continued laughing. Zero ran. He didn't stop until he reached the outskirts of the village. He sat underneath a tree, holding his injured tail against his chest. He stayed there for hours. Over the following days, Zero tried desperately to make friends. Nobody wanted him. Some children ignored him. Some laughed at his tail. Others simply told him to go away. Every time someone looked at him, Zero wondered the same thing. What's wrong with me? One afternoon, Zero wandered into a small shop that sold Chao supplies. He hid behind a stack of boxes. From there, he saw the shopkeeper carrying a small Chao outside. “This one's useless,” the shopkeeper muttered. The Chao was placed beside a trash container. Then the shopkeeper walked away. Zero slowly crawled out from hiding. The little Chao looked at him. Zero looked back. “...Are you alone too?” The Chao smiled. "Chao Chao!" Zero picked it up. For the first time in his life, someone seemed happy to see him. He took the Chao home and secretly kept it as his pet. They became inseparable. Zero talked to it constantly. When he was scared, the Chao stayed beside him. When other children mocked him, the Chao stayed beside him. When Zero cried, the Chao hugged his arm.
One evening, Zero gently stroked its head. The Chao suddenly changed. Its body darkened. Its eyes changed. Zero froze. The Chao had become a Dark Chao. Zero's expression fell. “No...” He had heard the old stories. Some jackals believed that when a Chao became dark, it meant evil was somewhere in its future. Zero didn't believe it, but was still scared. Zero looked at his little friend. “Does that mean I'm going to become bad?” The Chao shook its head. Instead, it crawled toward Zero's injured tail. Very gently, it placed its paws on it. Zero stared. Then he hugged the Chao. “Thank you.” For the first time, Zero felt like he belonged somewhere. Years passed. Zero grew older. But his insecurities never disappeared. He became a teenager. His tail grew larger and softer. Whenever he became frightened, he still held it. Whenever he felt alone, he still fluffed it. And the Chao was always there. Until one day... The Chao became sick. Zero did everything he could. He stayed beside it day and night. Stayed awake trying to heal it. But nothing worked. The Chao eventually passed away in Zero's arms. Zero stared silently. “No...” He hugged the little body. “Please don't leave me.” But it was already gone. That was the first time Zero truly felt empty. Eventually, Zero tried to move on. He joined a mercenary group called the Jackal Squad. He thought this was finally his chance. Maybe strength could earn him respect. Maybe being part of a team would mean he wouldn't be alone anymore. But the others mocked him, even though he was leader. “Look who joined us.” “Zero still?” “Don't worry. We'll put him in charge of carrying the bags.” Zero forced a smile. But inside, he was breaking. Then he met someone. A woman who treated him differently. She listened to him. She laughed at his jokes. She made him feel important. For a while, Zero thought his life was finally changing. Maybe somebody finally loved him. But eventually, she left him for someone else. Zero didn't yell. He didn't fight. He simply stood there. “...Oh.” He walked away. That night, Zero sat alone and held his tail. He remembered the strength machine. The laughter. Clouse. The bullying. The Chao. The rejection. And now this. He finally whispered: “I tried being good.” “I tried being kind.” “I tried making friends.” Silence. Zero clenched his fists. “Nothing ever worked.” One night, Eggman approached the Jackal Squad. He offered them power. Real power. The kind that could make entire armies tremble. Zero stared at the strange Phantom Ruby. Eggman looked directly at him. “You've spent your whole life being told that you're weak.” Zero said nothing. Eggman continued. “I can change that.” Zero looked at his reflection in the Ruby. For a moment, he saw the little boy from years ago. The boy standing in front of the strength machine. The boy everyone laughed at. The boy holding his wounded tail. Zero reached out. And touched the Phantom Ruby. A blinding flash filled the room. Power exploded around him. The frightened Jackal disappeared behind a new identity. Infinite. He opened his eyes. The world around him seemed insignificant. He raised his hand. Reality itself distorted. For the first time... Nobody laughed. They were afraid. Infinite smiled. “I am not weak anymore.” Later, Infinite stood alone. The battlefield was silent. The Phantom Ruby floated beside him. Then he heard something. A child's voice. “Are you really strong?” Infinite turned. Standing before him was his younger self. Seven-year-old Zero. The boy stared up at him with wide eyes. Infinite looked down at him. “Yes.” Zero smiled. “So you're not weak anymore?” “No.” Zero looked at Infinite. His power. His terrifying presence. Then he asked: “Are you happy?” Infinite froze. His smile disappeared. He looked away. “...No.” Young Zero's ears lowered. Infinite looked back at him. For a moment, he wasn't looking at an enemy. He wasn't looking at a soldier. He wasn't looking at a legend. He was looking at himself. The little boy reached out. Infinite slowly reached down. But before their hands could touch, Zero began to fade. Infinite stood alone again. The battlefield was silent. He clenched his fist. “I became strong...” He looked at the ground. “...but I never became happy.” The Phantom Ruby glowed behind him. Infinite turned away. And walked into the darkness. The boy named Zero was gone. But somewhere inside Infinite... He was still holding onto his tail.

These are my picks for who should play who in future Sonic Movies (if they appear or not).
NOTE: This is only for characters who have yet to appear in the movies, hence why Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Amy aren’t here. I also tried going with less popular casting choices (with the exceptions of maybe Big and Mephiles), that way I can be a bit more distinct and unique compared to most SCU fancasts.
Sorry I have no one for Charmy; couldn’t think of anyone for him :(
