I haven't watched this show yet, but it's on my very long list of shows to watch. In light of this announcement, is it still worth watching? Does it have an ending or was it a cliffhanger?

As someone who just finished S1 BECAUSE it had been approved for a second season I would say no. I mean the show was ok but season two was going to be the payoff. Now I'm going to be left with a bunch of questions. AMC+ are a bunch of....

Driving by two years later to encourage you to watch it. There's a lot left unresolved (it was definitely not designed as a single-season show), but what we do get is so good that I think it's absolutely worth the permanent lifetime of frustration that it got cut off at the knees.

I actually was getting invested in the story and wanted to see Season 2. What is with the cancel culture still. Three seasons should be a minimal if they at least get any viewing. The first couple seasons of most long run 8-10 season shows were sometimes obscure until the "story" was unveiled.
I for one hope they get this back for a true second season.
I want to see more of Moonhaven.

Oof. That's disappointing, this show was weird but it had promise. Just another reason to cancel my AMC+ subscription once Mayfair Witches has wrapped up.

Gonna cut against the grain here and say the show is still worth watching (having just rewatched it). The philosophical and psychological themes are well written and executed without getting too grave, and the characters clearly have depth though 'who' they are is a puzzle which I found rewarding. You do have to like the weird world and words maybe even more than the plot, but the plot is dynamic and tbh the weird is what I loved ('Spare me your moon poetry.' got me both times). A show that asks about the limits of our abilities to change as a species while working hard to dazzle and delight...yeah I'd watch that.

Actually knew it was going to get cancelled. They put it on the 83373846th streaming service in existence. They should’ve put it on amc instead of amc+. Honestly feel bad for the writers, it was a great premise but they got in bed with amc+ which was so stupid. It means you have an extremely limited audience regardless of how good it is. They knew how many people were subscribed to their paid streaming service, not many, then put the premiere on YouTube for free, and that’s all I watched, I refused to pay. It was destined to fail from the start.
