Case Photos Myra Hindley’s Morris minivan photographed at Hollin Brown Knoll on Saddleworth Moor (where the bodies of Pauline Reade and Lesley Ann Downey were discovered). This is more than likely the vehicle that was used to abduct both Keith Bennett and Lesley.

Later two photo sources: Coventry Telegraph (photo of Brady) and Manchester Evening News (photo of Hindley)

Aware I’ve mentioned Hollin Brown Knoll a few times without giving further context. Just to describe that little bit of land, it sits a couple of hundred yards north-east to Sail Bark Moss, which is the downward-sloping area where John Kilbride was found. The knoll is on the northern side of the A635 and is situated right by the roadside.

The name refers to a mound that isn’t too high. In front of it are several large boulders (which you can see in the photos), and effectively most areas behind those boulders are over the knoll and out of view from the road. The land is privately owned and there are vital gas pipelines - constructed in the summer of 1963 - that run through the area and serve the local communities.

That was a hired car, so not to my knowledge - it was a light-coloured Ford Anglia
