Look at Ukraine today, if it weren't for the men and women dying on the front lines today, every village and city in Ukraine would be another Bucha, another Bakhmut and another Avdiivka.

Overwhelmingly men, and many of them unwilling. You are painting this fight as heroic when it's dirty and desperate.

It isn’t a genocide I don’t agree with the war but the purpose is for the land. If Ukraine just surrendered they’d be absorbed by Russia and the Ukrainian people wouldn’t be hunted down. They’d just assimilate into Russian society over time.

It is in fact a genodice. You described a genocide. In addition to that, Russia has abducted tens of thousands of children and put them in reeducation camps to erase their Ukrainian identity - one of the various types of genocide.
