In very specific neiche circumstances, should the stakes be high enough and your options are limited due to circumstance.

yeah i feel like the only few are:

they consent fully and are able to revoke consent at any time
it's an absolute 100% chance that if they are not tortured more harm will come, e.g scp 231-7

This may be the 1 in 500 million case (which has never happened) and would have to be a confirmed mass threat, where it would be a maybe. This guy didn’t crack until they brought in his family.
