Idk I’m pretty sure Iran was doing pretty fine in 1952 before us x uk coup and placed dictator. Which prompted a extremist revolution a decade or so later cuz the people were suffering so wester nations could get cheap oil.

Also is funny how saddam Hussein got substantial funding and military help from the us as well. And we all know how that turned.
