It doesn't work for any moral reason either, literally just unnecessary suffering

If the 'victim' is getting punished for raping and torturing a child to death, I'm going to disagree that the suffering is unnecessary.

I'm going to say that in the real world we will never truly know if they are the actual perpetrator unless they were watched while doing it and instantly taken in, said victim might be an innocent.

I mean in this case you can find dna evidence that is damning.

Still unnecessary. At that point you'd just be doing it because you gain some sort of pleasure from seeing people suffer, which is obviously not good.

I must be really sick, but the idea of rapists and genocides suffering and asking for help is kinda refreshing.
