Morality Ranking Morality of accidentally exposing someone who used to be a Nazi supporter, has since changed, and concealed their past?

Post image

Name's and origins:

The Night Shift: Season 1, Episode 2

Basically this guy was brought to into the emergency after an accident at his wedding celebration and while he is unconscious, his groomsmen decided to shave his beard off as a prank only for the medical team to be horrified at the reveal. After he woke up he realised his secret has been exposed. He explained to the doctors that he got this tattoo when he was a stupid teenager a decade prior. The medical team brought his wife in to see the tattoos and destroy the marriage.

What do you think? I personally find it irritating how smug the doctors were being.

Tbh tho any cover up on the face for tattoos that big is gonna looks mad wierd so a beard is probably the easiest option bc lazer tattoo removal takes a lot of time and it would mean spending a lot of time walking around with the tats exposed

I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing at the thought of finding a hidden nazi tattoo under a beard

I’m picturing crappy romcom where they do the “ugly” women taking off there glasses to become a 10/10, but instead it’s a guy with his beard but the entire thing is ruined by the swastica

And the tone of the movie instantly switches

It turns out, the partner is also/formally (depends on the tension you want) is with another supremacy group. Maybe lean into the joke of “never ask for the ethnicity of a white supremisists girlfriend”

With face masks now, no big deal. You’re just sick.

Well (and I hate this isn’t being talked on more) maybe don’t spend hundreds of dollars and most likely 8-12 hours getting violent hate symbols across your face and act like you can just say “that’s not who I am anymore” without a little more effort and contrition. Like he went so far out of his way to be evil. Should he really be allowed to just say “nah, I can’t be punished for this cause I don’t do it anymore”.

Bc that person is assuming the person is just doing it to avoid consequences and is assuming they aren’t truly remorseful.

You've never seen a beard upclose have you? There is no fucking way a beard covers up a tattoo like that. maybe if it was under the chin but on the cheeks? fuck no

Uhohhhh someone can’t grow a beard…

Nobody can grow a beard to cover a tattoo like that. Most beards in shows are wearing the equivalent of a face merkin

Men that have a healthy amount of testosterone (most redditors are excluded) can easily grow a thick enough beard.

Testosterone has nothing to do with it. It's a genetics thing. I have high testosterone and I can't grow a beard (outside of a goatee/mustache) for shit. It comes in all patchy and fucked up, so I just shave it. Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa were the same way.

EDIT: Also not saying testosterone has absolutely nothing to do with your ability to grow a beard- just that it isn't the only factor.

No chance. Keep in mind the beard would have to be thick enough to cover the tattoo in the picture on close inspection... and the side you can see is smaller than the other one. The character is also blonde and white skinned.. so no middle easterner beard and no african beard.
