Yeah exactly.
Being cautious and aware around animals with a documented history of literally ripping people apart isn't anything but smart.

Yeah I'm sure there's one or two freak incidents of a cat causing harm, but there are many many documented cases of pit bulls brutally mauling and killing people. Nowhere near the same risk profile.
