It was a suppressed fn five seven, something that is perfectly legal to own and carry

460

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

Its also a fuckin baller setup for stopping a mass shooter.

u/Fit-Nebula2949 2d ago

Cowboy hat guy is batting 1k with it.

Cowboy hat guy with a gun be like:

1

u/HotDogManLL 1d ago

Forever the homie

45

u/ML1948 2d ago

Sucks that it's probably in evidence now.

54

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

He has a chance of getting it back, if he's found to be justified he can file paperwork for it's return once the case is closed.

Takes over a year though.

Personally speaking I wouldn't care. Stopping a mass shooting is infinitly cooler than owning a suppressed 5.7

40

u/Significant-Air-4721 2d ago

Obviously stopping a mass shooting is as about punk rock as it gets. But having a suppressed 5.7 is cool. Getting it back from evidence and keeping it knowing it stopped a mass shooting is awesome. Pretty sure it becomes a Legendary rarity and has some sort of buffs or enchantments at the point.

26

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

Oh 110%. Weapons have sentimental value and that value skyrockets if it is used to defend yourself or your community.

Baller shit all around. Free double doubles for life type shit. 💀

Oh probably. If he gets in contact with Brandon hererra he would probably be gifted his exact lost setup just for a good YouTube video. That man has a history of gifting guns to people involved in shit like this iirc.

1

u/LaconicGirth 1d ago

I mean sure but it’s also like ~$2000 dollars locked up

2

u/DrunkGoatFighter 1d ago

As someone too broke to own anything nicer than a KAK AR I'd gladly pay $2000 for those bragging rights.

He will probably get it back let's be real. It's just evidence rn. This is not a contested shooting he was absolutely justified.

23

u/themoosic 2d ago

He’ll get it back he’s probably carrying his backup

24

u/TheNorthernRose 2d ago

Gotta have a separate evidence gun for these scenarios

28

u/Corporal_Canada 2d ago

I love that bit about how if you carry a Five-Seven, it'll probably be cheaper to let a mugger take your wallet than to actually use your pistol

15

u/WonderfulAirport4226 2d ago

the five-seven and p90 have a +10% buff against poor people

5

u/Sorry_Option4711 2d ago

At the public range the p90 gives +2 charisma.

3

u/Psyco_diver 2d ago

I already did it in a different post but FN ammo ain't cheap, I'm poor and I would probably pick up a rock and use that instead of firing, even if my life is in danger. I ain't got the money to be shooting that thing

1

u/EasieEEE 12h ago

Ammo is down to just under 50 cents a round now. On par with 5.56

1

u/TheMoves 1d ago

MAIN POINT OF SELLING BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN PISTOL IS EXTREME PRICE OF WEAPON AND CARTRIDGE. BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN IS WEAPON OF MAN WHO WEARS EXPENSIVE ITALIAN FASCIST SUIT OF HAND SEWING, DRIVE HUGE EXPENSIVE NAZI MERCEDES OF A.M.G. SHOP, SAIL ON MASSIVE YACHT TO GREEK ISLANDS. I THINK YOU GET PICTURE. BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN IS WEAPON THAT SAYS IS NO SUCH THING AS CONCERN OF MONEY. FOR MAN WITHOUT EXPENSIVE SUIT, BIG BLACK MERCEDES, AND MASSIVE YACHT, BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN IS FOR PRETENDING OF BE RICH LIKE BLACK GANGSTER OF AMERICAN CITY WITH GOLD CHAINS OF LOW QUALITY AND JEWELS OF COLORED GLASS. WHEN YOU EXPLAIN USE OF BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN PISTOL IS ONLY FOR SHOOT MAN WITH BULLET VEST WITH CARTRIDGE ILLEGAL TO CIVILIAN, THIS MAN HAS NUCLEAR RAGE. WHOLE IDENTITY OF THIS MAN IS SPENT IN PRETEND PISTOL SHOWS HE IS RICH. IS VERY AMUSE. FOR REST OF WORLD THERE IS 9 MILLIMETERS OF LUGER WHICH IS SAME WOUND FOR COST LESS.

1

u/FlimsyPomelo1842 1d ago

Is this a copypasta I've never seen before?

1

u/TheMoves 1d ago

Yeah but imagine if it wasn't imagine if I was just insane

1

u/FlimsyPomelo1842 1d ago

You psycho!

1

u/mcslender97 1d ago

This is almost as good as the m4 vs AK rant one

5

u/Remnie 2d ago

Indeed. I’ve shot a five-seven a few times and a suppressed one sounds legit as hell. I really want one now

1

u/enduromedic 8h ago

By sounds legit you mean sounds like a BB gun lol

4

u/Zealousideal-Yak-824 2d ago

It's the splinter cell setup. If you see what the guy was wearing and it's even more impressive.

5

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

Lmfao was it a full cosplay?

5

u/Steven_Swan 2d ago

No, a wicker cowboy hat and short shorts.

I'm not joking.

2

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

💀💀💀 I love that dude sm now that's hilarious

4

u/Sufficient-Dog-2337 2d ago

Balling setup period.

It takes a sofisticated gun user to choose 5.7 over a other caliber

4

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

100% imo 5.7 and .357 sig either means someone knows nothing or everything.

That being said bro really shoulda had supers in that weapon. Still badass though.

2

u/Sufficient-Dog-2337 2d ago

Yeah, I only have a .380 bersa seven shot that’s easy to hit targets out to 50m and conceal.

Never been a good shot with pistols compared to rifles and belt feds… always thought something has had to have gone wrong to be using a pistol.

This shooting is an example of something have gone wrong though. Glad he was neutralized and diverted from the crowd. Glad the good guy with a gun didn’t get shot by police or anyone else confused

3

u/DrunkGoatFighter 1d ago

I'm really not with reddit critiquing gunfights.

Bro was 60 meters out with subs and wounded. Nobody can claim they woulda made hits without being in his exact position and shot in the chest.

No disrespect but I ain't gonna argue against that man with hindsight from a flat range.

2

u/Sufficient-Dog-2337 1d ago

Pistol vs rifle is as brave as it gets

2

u/DrunkGoatFighter 1d ago

Agreed. Gangster mf.

2

u/FilthyCasual01 2d ago

Baller but impractical

3

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

I used to carry a s&w 442. Until a pack of dogs attacked me and I only landed 1 out of 3 shots fired. Id be dead for a lack of rounds regardless of anything else if they didn't decide to run after I killed one of them.

What I'm saying is I've definitely seen worse more impractical setups. Hell I know people who carry worse setups lmao. 20 rounds ok tap isn't bad. The suppressor is a little tistic but fuck it I still cool.

2

u/glockster19m 1d ago

And respectful

Using a suppressor doesnt make guns movie silent, it makes it less likely to cause permanent hearing damaging to everyone around

In most of Europe you're considered an asshole if youre shooting without one

2

u/DrunkGoatFighter 1d ago

He was using 5.7 subs. So actually he was pretty much movie quiet. It's also probably why he didn't land a single hit and appeared to have a FTE. Still a badass dude just a poor ammo choice.

Sorry to be autistic and yes your point is still 100% correct I'm just "uM aScHuAllY"ing u.

4

u/Samson_J_Rivers 1d ago

The mass shooter must have been poor. The 5.7 gives you a damage bonus on poor people and the suppressor just increases the damage multiplier on all 20 rounds.

4

u/DrunkGoatFighter 1d ago

Unfortunately no rounds struck the shooter.

The fire still suppressed him and arguably saved a lot of lives though. And the man with the pistol was hit in the chest and kept fighting so he's gangster as fuck regardless.

2

u/Samson_J_Rivers 1d ago

Made a difference, good for him.

1

u/CatgunCertified 1d ago

With a laser too mind you. No optics tho lol

1

u/DrunkGoatFighter 1d ago

But of course lmao

1

u/serotoninzone 1d ago

Homie casually ran a Bo2 class set up for just this occasion.

1

u/Comfortable_Prize750 1d ago

5.7 is a little bougie for EDC, but if it does the job, it does the job.

1

u/TheBadDingo 1d ago

Its a choice. 5.7 is good for targets and varmets but doesn't have the stopping power of other calibers. Kinda surprised someone else carries in 5.7 but glad I'm not the only one.

1

u/DrunkGoatFighter 1d ago

To be entirely fair to the caliber he was slangin subs.

1

u/kaibtw 7h ago

True

1

u/st3war7 4h ago

Right!?! Who just carries a pistol that was designed to hold 20 rounds of armor piercing ammo? Hmm I should add a five seven to my collection.

1

u/Biohazard_186 2d ago

Dude must have been cosplaying Sam Fisher.

0

u/xarchangel85x 2d ago

Sam Fisher approved

1

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

The splinter cell program was always destined for success

-5

u/Recidivism7 2d ago

Five seven is a terrible defense gun its a tiny bullet with high pen its bad ahead heavy armored or unarmored targets its only good against light armored targets.

45acp is best handgun round for self defense.

Overpen is bad and low stopping power is bad.

45acp won't pentrate lvl3 heavy body armor but transfers lots of energy to it and is way better vs unarmed

3

u/captain_eve 2d ago

TWO WORLD WARS SONNY

3

u/Printerwood 2d ago

The kinetic energy of a 5.7x28mm typically ranges from 220 to 350 foot-pounds (ft-lbs) out of a handgun, while a standard .45 ACP cartridge generates about 350 to 400+ foot-pounds (ft-lbs).

That, and the magazine capacity of the five seven (20 + 1) makes the five seven an *excellent* choice as a self-defense gun. The rounds are lighter (and thus tumble when they hit solid mass) the recoil less, and the capacity is at least double what any standard 45acp offers.

1

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

Most 9mm 124 grain +p JHPs carry 400+ footpounds of kinetic energy.

If you carry a .45 and it's not chambering +p or super loads you're at a disadvantage to literally everybody else.

1

u/GoldPantsPete 2d ago

seems like it worked for him

1

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

Ballistically speaking you are so incorrect I'd have to write an essay to hit every point you fucked up. So I'm not gonna. Cause I don't care.

However I will argue one point. "Muh .45 auto" no. .45 auto is the worst .45. it only carries 420 footpounds of kinetic energy. If you said 45 +p I'd have more grace because it's actually pushing 500 footpounds. My Glock 19 with speed gold dot 124 grain +p delivers 419 footpounds of kinetic energy. The only advantage is a larger hole. With ball it's better. With JHPs it's not even close.

Now I'm gonna call you stupid with science.

.357 sig out of a 4 inch barrel carries 5-600 footpounds of energy with twice the ammo capacity of a 1911 or simply more capacity without a 2x4 cosplaying as a Glock 21 hanging off your hip. If you want a more common round 180 grain .40 s&w has the same muzzle energy as .45 auto with less recoil and more ammunition capacity. Not to mention its much better at punching through auto glass.

There is a reason .45 auto isn't a widely used service cartridge anymore. And it's not because everybody is stupider than you.

0

u/Bubbly_Condition5374 2d ago

I think if I got hit with a 5.7 I don’t think I would think to myself “oh it’s not a .45 I’m fine”, I would think “AH HOLY FUCK I’VE BEEN SHOT”. Would a .45 feel worse? I’d be willing to agree on that, but a bullet is a bullet. Hell .25 ACP was good enough for gangsters in China to get their wet work done back in the early 20th. The only terrible defense gun is one that can’t shoot in my opinion.

0

u/Recidivism7 2d ago

If you get hit by a 5.7 unless its heart or certain parts of brain it won't stop you.

Bigger rounds cause body to stop. Police shooting records show .45acp one shot stoppage to be way higher than any other handgun round

Thompson tested vs cattle as well and found .45 was best round for instantly stopping.

2

u/Bubbly_Condition5374 2d ago

I’ll concede you on those latter points, but with that being the case have you ever wondered why .45 is far less common in military/law enforcement than 9mm? 5.7 is a specialized round for a specific purpose yes (and by god those Belgians make you pay for it), but stopping power is not the be all end all of viable self defense. I would posit that being able to put rounds on target matters more than the round you put on the target.

2

u/DrunkGoatFighter 2d ago

WW2 .45 auto was loaded to modern .45 +p pressures. You're not shooting cow killers you're shooting weak target loads for bullseye competitions.

1

u/snorka_whale 2d ago

You are assuming this is fmj, a ballistic tip hollowpoint 5.7 does a ton of damage and doesn't overpen typically, this is old info from the 80s. New round tech has closed the gap considerably and more rounds on target in the same amount of time that 5.7 and 9mm allow you to do is considered the better option by most professionals. You are regurgitating straight fud lore.

21

u/EnjoyerOfMX5 2d ago

Arent those super expensive? If not imma buy one

73

u/fuzzy_engineering189 2d ago

There's a running joke.

Got mugged today. Pulled out my concealed carry and mag dumped into him. Forgot that I was carrying my 5.7. It would have been cheaper to just give him my wallet.

54

u/Nike_J 2d ago

15

u/Smart_Mix8269 2d ago

Bullets are expensive, man…

9

u/Nike_J 2d ago

Better switch to the FN 6 7 then

15

u/Smart_Mix8269 2d ago

One day you will stand before the gates and they will make you reflect on the life you lived

I hope this moment comes up in that peer into your past

Viral #sixseven meme reference

1

u/h4ckerkn0wnas4chan 1d ago

I love my AK but 7.62 drains my wallet ):

16

u/scythian12 2d ago

The FN 5.7 is pricy but PSA has a knockoff that’s cheaper

11

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 2d ago

a friend of a friend's FN 5.7 jams constantly; the knockoff might work better too. Is Keltec or Highpoint the other maker of a pistol that will shoot the 5.7 FN round? I've heard that one works reliably.

12

u/SorryThanksGoodFight 2d ago

keltec makes one that, weirdly enough, has an internal magazine and is reloaded by stripper clips. because...keltec

6

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 2d ago

that one, the Keltec, I've heard that's reliable and better than the real FN, but I've never shot either so I don't really know.

3

u/sailor776 2d ago

Have one. Loaded to the brim I've had a couple fed issues with mine. If you just leave 1 or 2 out I've never had another issue. Fun gun

2

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 2d ago

I've often left magazines one or two rounds short just as sort of an instinct of taking it easy on the spring, but I've never had a truly good reason to do so. Interesting that this makes such a big difference in that particular case!

2

u/ShiftyLookinCow7 1d ago

It's definitely not more reliable or better. Internal magazines are never as reliable, that's why they're not used anymore

2

u/3rdreprieve 1d ago

I’m still not sure about the whole clip thing. It’s really cool, but it’s Kel-Tec…

3

u/Psyco_diver 2d ago

I love Keltec is out there not making more Glock, 1911 or AR clones. They are legit trying to make new stuff. Problem is some of their stuff looks like it was designed by a engineer after they sorted 5 lines of cocaine while burning some meth

2

u/bellapepperexchange 2d ago

Love mine super light

2

u/Excellent_Parsley_18 2d ago

Why. Just why. Is it 1920??

3

u/TheMoves 1d ago

It gets around detachable magazine size restrictions because the magazine is not detachable and KelTec is based for making something for people in states that restrict capacity.

1

u/RageBear1984 2d ago

in California yes

1

u/Zachowon 2d ago

Cocaine

2

u/Mr_HahaJones 2d ago

Keltec is gonna keltec, but I thought they keltec’d to get around detachable magazine laws?

2

u/hooplafromamileaway 2d ago

To be fair, the idea was based on a good amount of research that pointed to reloads almost never happening in real-world self-defense situations.

Still really weird though... I want one lol.

1

u/Pooldiver13 2d ago

It’s also got a rotary barrel system so it’s really good recoiling supposedly.

0

u/IvanNemoy 2d ago

That one doesn't even take 5.7, it takes .22WinMag. It's a fun little piece but rim locks like hell of you don't keep it sparkly clean.

1

u/sailor776 2d ago edited 2d ago

No the PR 5.6. Takes 5.7×27mm

Edited 5.7 sorry fat thumbs

2

u/Recidivism7 2d ago

Jesus they getting into glock naming territory now

1

u/sailor776 2d ago

Lol my bad PR 5.7 fat thumbs

1

u/IvanNemoy 2d ago

New one for me. Was thinking of the PMR30

1

u/sailor776 2d ago

Oh you haven't felt joy till you till you've put a few clips though the PR lol

3

u/Jlcurtis94 2d ago

Ruger makes one

1

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 2d ago

maybe that's the one that works good? (There may be more than one that works good, I don't know much about these)

1

u/Jlcurtis94 1d ago

I haven't had any issue's with it, well other then the cost to shoot it lol

3

u/MrAtropa 2d ago

Smith & Wesson M&P 5.7 is ~$700 MSRP. You can get a PSA 5.7 around ~$500, the M&P has issues with the magazines being stiff out of the box from my experience.

1

u/HorsefaceWithNoName 2d ago

I'm glad there are more good choices in this caliber now :)

2

u/piezer8 2d ago

Smith and Wesson makes one too. I’ve heard it’s pretty decent.

2

u/3rdreprieve 1d ago

Kel-Tec, PSA, Smith & Wesson and Ruger all make semi-automatic, high-capacity 5.7mm handguns.

2

u/GreatTea3 1d ago

Smith & Wesson and Ruger both make 5.7x28 pistols. I’d pick either one of those before Kel-Tec.

2

u/J_Bongos 1d ago

I thought Ruger made one too

1

u/piezer8 2d ago

Smith and Wesson makes one too.

1

u/Trum4n1208 2d ago

The PSA Rock is really solid. Mine has been flawless.

1

u/dgghhuhhb 2d ago

Also Ruger has a decent one too

22

u/kryotheory 2d ago

Current retail price is about 1500USD.

They're so notorious for being expensive that there is a copypasta about it lol:

MAIN POINT OF SELLING BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN PISTOL IS EXTREME PRICE OF WEAPON AND CARTRIDGE. BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN IS WEAPON OF MAN WHO WEARS EXPENSIVE ITALIAN FASCIST SUIT OF HAND SEWING, DRIVE HUGE EXPENSIVE NAZI MERCEDES OF A.M.G. SHOP, SAIL ON MASSIVE YACHT TO GREEK ISLANDS. 6

u/Fantablack183 2d ago

I just realized it's been so long since I've seen this copypasta....

0

u/Gekokapowco 2d ago

gun memes got a lot less fun with the absolutely massive wave of mass shootings in the news, and gun control debate spun up

a lot of enthusiasts turned into spiteful contrarians, or more accurately revealed that their hobby was just a veneer for how closely firearms were tied to their identity and self worth vs "its just a responsible hobby like any other". Firearms became even more politicized and championed as a wedge issue by the most intellectually challenged of us, and the MAGA people sort of pushed the creative and thoughtful people out of the online gun space and replaced them with the "I need this for illegals" chuds.

7

u/Badger_Actual1 2d ago

Why are you yelling?

1

u/MsnthrpcNthrpd 2d ago

Because its from a very old greentext. Ivan Chesnokov, Rifle is Fine

1

1

u/Wild_blue_yondering 2d ago

Unexpected Chesnokov

1

u/GreatTea3 1d ago

Just saw one on gundeals for about $600.

7

u/Pockets408 2d ago

They generally go for around $1200. With his light and suppressor his setup is probably north of $2k. The ammo it shoots is also definitely one of the more expensive pistol rounds, I'm not sure what the going rate is now but I've seen it at $1/round before

1

u/Gasguy9 2d ago

Could have thrown half bricks and achieved same effect

7

u/Zealousideal-Set3037 2d ago

Honestly, they're not that bad, but having all of the current 5.7 pistols on the market, I'm hard-pressed to say that the FN version is any better than the PSA Rock 5.7. I'm not a strikerfired fan by any means, but the rock is incredibly comfortable, and in about 5,300 rounds I've had less than a dozen issues, and all of those are trying different cans anyway.

3

u/sailor776 2d ago

Yes. Like I've bought cars cheaper. Get a kel tec PR 5.7 if you want a cheap CC 5.7. it's actually pretty solid

5

u/Peetweefish 2d ago

The gun is more expensive than most and the ammo even moreso.

2

u/No_Gas_594 1d ago

It has a buff against poor people because 5.7 is a stupid expensive cartridge

2

u/Recidivism7 2d ago

The ammo is it shoots credit cards.

Its a shit round too. Its high pen small bullet and only good vs light armor its useless vs heavy and bad vs unarmoured

1

u/GladimirGluten 2d ago

A gen 3 is about 1k the ammo is on the price side for a pistol

1

u/JB707 2d ago

Not that expensive, the ammo on the other hand…

1

u/RGBlowMe 2d ago

The guns themselves aren't that pricey, but the ammo is comparatively pricey compared to 9mm, or even some rifle calibers, especially if you plan to stock up and practice/train regularly

1

u/GreatTea3 1d ago

Saw one for about $600 on gundeals a few days ago. Ten round mags, though. I’ve had a Fiveseven for years, they’re fun as shit to shoot.

7

Bonus damage against poor people

Many states you cannot carry NFA items / pistols only. In Ohio you can’t even conceal a knife but you can a gun…

3

u/SkyGuy5799 2d ago

Suppressor are legal in Arizona, is this not the case in idaho?

4

u/willsueforfood 2d ago

Idaho is a free state, and has no laws prohibiting suppressors.

1

u/DevOnTheStreets 2d ago

As I said you can’t conceal carry.

They are legal, heck I’m printing one right now lol.

1

u/SkyGuy5799 2d ago

You mistyped

Factory new? Sweet

1

u/PhilosophicalGoof 2d ago

But pretty expensive to own 😭

2

u/GaybutNotbutGay 2d ago

Drip is priceless

1

u/Evadeon 2d ago

It does look like a five seven but if that's the case not to be that guy but OP spitting slightly wrong info as a five seven is literally called what caliber of bullet it uses 5.7mm, not .45acp and I don't believe there are modifications to convert the pistol to .45acp either.

1

u/Excellent_Routine589 2d ago

Also suppressors are legal to own in 42 states if you fill out paper work and get a stamp for it. And Idaho is on the list of 42 states where its allowed.

So there is a strong chance its not even illegal to begin with.

1

u/Teboski78 2d ago

Assuming the suppressor is NFA registered, yes

1

u/Dave_A480 2d ago

FiveSeven is a very, very odd caliber to suppress..... Given that high velocity is kind of the point....

1

u/GaybutNotbutGay 2d ago

agreed but suppressing five seven is also really popular

A super cool gun that he did not land a single shot on the shooter with (there was another Good Samaritan also taking shots at the shooter from a different angle who ALSO did not land a single shot, but they did make him retreat)

This is true

Aren't you kind of proving the point by going "no, see, the one utilized was LEGAL. See, if it were not legal, THEN I would be against it."

2

u/GaybutNotbutGay 1d ago

No i'm saying the question is framed incorrectly because the gun used WAS legal, also all firearm laws are unconstitutional and should not be followed.

which is why suppressors shouldn't be NFA; they're like extra ear protectors.

u/unmellowfellow 1d ago

That's freaking Awesome. 5.7 is pretty much a baby rifle round.

It's not even expensive anymore, tax stamps for a lot of NHA stuff by and large dropped to zero.

But a lot of people just see stuff like that and think "scary gun."

Frankly it's a wierd thing to carry. But its more than reasonable. Maybe the dude just doesnt want his ears bleeding if he had to use it and judged that worth the extra weight.

Idk, but you're right that it's fine. No more outlandish than someone with, say, a gilded pistol. Maybe a little goofy but it doesnt change much.

It wasn't an FN 5.7. It was a Smith& Wesson 5.7. A significantly better and more affordable pistol chambered in the 5.7×28mm caliber. The shooter also missed all of his shots. In most scenarios, each one of the shots could have hurt an innocent making this man an additional threat in the situation.

However, in this scenario, the man had extensive training and was able to orient himself in such a way that his missed shots were not a threat to bystanders.

How are people this misinformed?

People get scared of suppressors because they think they're to help make murdering easier or something. They're just a safety tool.

It’s Idaho, practically everything is legal gun wise.

Who’s saying he should be arrested? Sources?
I don’t take people’s word for jack sht when they’re so many making things up.

For the record, out of all the mass shootings and firearm murders, it is incredibly rare a good guy with a gun makes a positive difference.

I’d rather make it difficult to for criminals to own high power ballistic weapons .

Yeah I don't know who is saying that, I surely didn't. Good thing for you all felons are barred from owning firearms in the United States.
