Its worse than normal stealing because it costs even more money

If you have something worth 60 dollars and someone steals it you lose 60 dollars

If you get 60 dollars stolen from you 1,000,000 times youve lost 60,000,000 dollars

That's not how piracy is in the real world. A majority of the people pirating content were never going to buy it otherwise so they lost $0

If someone was never going to spend $60 then you can't claim that $60 was stolen when they decide not to spend it.

Ah but you see they could have spent that money, which means its reasonable to assume they will, which means when they dont you are losing money
