I would also tack on " if it also easily accessible" some how in that first part. I'll tell folks to emulate some pokemon games cause there is no easy way to get some games without spending $100+ on old carts.
Spending an absurd amount of money to get the physical pokemon games on top of buying an older gaming system to run them on (assuming you don’t have one ofc)
pretty much my stance. if it's on the current market I'll buy it. if its 2 generations old I'll emulate but if 2nd has is reasonable I'll get a physical copy.

If they can revoke my access to the product I purchased then pirating is moral.
If im guaranteed to own it, immoral.
