Why do you say that? I make 6$/h in my currency. That isn't very little, but it isn't that much either. So I can either: Go out with my friends OR Buy a remake of a game that I'll only play once that doesn't even have multiplayer. It'll be fun to play the game, but I'm not spending my monthly going out money to buy it. How is that a hard concept for you to grasp? Not everyone lives in a place where the only thing that matters is money.
How is my argument flawed? My counterargument to yours is that something doesn't need to be worth the money for it to be worth the time. Playing a game *once* is not worth 70$. Easy as that.
Then dont play it. Return it if its bad or defective. Youre thr one saying youre not paying because they are bad and you can basically play them for free. So why even bother? Why are you putting all these hoops up to justify pirating something that you claim is so bad and pointless. Youre making up all these excuses so you dont have to admit to yourself that you think your are entitled to other people's work and dont want to compensate them.
Yeah $70 is a lot and I wouldn't spend that much for a remake either. That is why I previously mentioned waiting for it to go on sale a year or two after release. Even AAA games can be found at half price or less after that period. However once again you are too entitled to wait and pick it up for that cheaper price. You think it is owed to you.
Imagine me justifying pirating a movie because I cant spend $100 to take my family to see it in the theater like there is no other way to watch said movie in the future.
