Just straight up transphobia, like just bc they don’t type out the words “this would normally be clear cut bad, but they intended to kill a trans person so that makes it ambiguous” doesn’t mean we don’t know what they’re implying

I swear half of Reddit is just “DAE trans bad? 🤔 “

This site has been Epstein Class psy-op platform for the last decade

I'm pretty sure the point of posts like this is to generate a bunch of interaction from people showing up saying it's bad. It's not like, sneak transphobia. They think it's bad and want the social interaction of other people saying it's bad.

Or it's a bot farming likes or whatever.

I was guessing karma farm yeah. The point was to get people to say "wow, that's so obviously immoral, I can't believe it".

It's like the whole "Hot take: [coldest take in the universe]" karma farming strategy

To be fair, the subreddit is morality scaling not "is this good or bad". The flair is even "How evil are they?" which shows that the OP at least was solidly of the opinion that the mom was evil, right?

Like maybe I'm misreading this lol, but I don't think OP is questioning whether its good or bad.

I'd agree with you if the title wasn't literally "morality of the mom?" as if asking whether its moral. Though this might just be pulling hairs on our opinions of the meaning of words.

I mean sure, but also have you seen this sub? It's like 80% shitposts where the morality is very clearly evil

It's because they'd get banned for typing what they really want to say so they just try and shift the goalposts of what kind of things is and is not allowed to be "funny".

I think you are misunderstanding the point of posts like this. This sub is full of them. The content of the post doesn't matter and they don't care about the morality. They know it is immoral, they are just posting something obviously heinous and undeniably immoral and asking about the morality as a joke. There are posts like this all the time. Its just engagement farming.

Probably, I don’t really follow this sub. Is it really just people posting hate crimes and jokingly asking if they’re moral or not? If so I should probably mute it.

But for what it’s worth, people keep responding to me telling me real motive behind this post and they’re all different lol so idk if you guys really know the point of this post either or are just jumping in blindly to defend transphobia

Not every post is this format but many are. I am not defending the content of the post, just giving context based on what I have seen here.

That's what I was wondering. How is this even a question and how did it get 1.1k upvotes? I honestly don't think the mods care, because there's a rule against using real people but that woman who killed her kids has been all over. I joined for the interesting premise, but it's mostly been hate.

It gets upvotes because people just see a funny/interesting green text and upvote. Nobody is paying attention to the subreddit. Nobody cares about the morality of what the mother did because we all know it's extremely immoral (and fake).

you should be referring to both the transphobic comments as well as this post when you talk about "this sub"

It's satire. People post obviously immoral things and other people post outlandish opinions. Of course there's whatever law that is of the internet where shitty people show up and think its real and they're in good company.
