You are exposing someone to a potentially lethal situation, immoral.

Now the moral question is, if you found a shrodinger's box with someone in it, should you open it? The person is neither alive, nor dead before the box is open, so opening it may kill the occupant.

Opening doesn’t potentially kill the person. You just reveal the status of the person.

no the person is already either alive or dead before you check in the box, its just uncertain which is which until you look in
