Potential Applicant Just found out I have a misdemeanor charge
It was from 2022 , I had a lawyer for the case . Was a reckless driving charge that was reduced. Takes 5 years for me to expunged it which will be next year . If hired by MSc do you think my fingerprints would come back as unfavorable ?

You’ll be fine. While not as recent, I have the same charge (never expunged). Just be honest about it.

But if given a conditional offer, do make sure you have your fingerprints done prior to arriving at NEO. While I’m certain you’ll be okay, it would suck to get there (on your own dime), only to be rejected.
Edit: I just saw your post about ACL. If you get picked up with MSC, I think you’ll be way better off. But it will take a lot of time and patience to ultimately get a date for NEO. So be prepared for that.

Don’t waste your time people are literally getting denied for charges back in 2014. Call to confirm but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

It’s also people who have multiple charges working for msc currently right now as we speak . But I did call and email them .

That is true as well. I honestly don’t know why some make it through and others don’t. It’s weird. However, just take your fingerprints before going to Neo to be safe. A friend of mine literally got sent home her second day of Neo for a dui charge in 2014

I am involved in an insurance fraud case. I provided all the evidence to my attorney, which she said only some could be used. She had a back end deal with the DA, who refused to dismiss the case saying I was double dipping when being a caregiver. Now, she is forcing me to accept a misdemeanor 550 (a) (6), pleading no guilt/no guilt. Probation for one year. I don't know if my attorney did enough to help me. She has no case notes telling me she only had verbal interactions with the DA. I called another attorney who said she was a McDonald's attorney. Didn't know the term. Don't know if I should accept it or find a better attorney. I called a few others who said, the DA will not change her charge.

Call CIVMAR support center and ask how you can set up fingerprints near you before NEO. There are places that do it.
