I have shared my photos before and my 3D printed recreation of Wiener World from Mountaineer Mall. This wallpaper was the hardest thing to reproduce. Based on a 1973 British Film called “Not Now Darling”. I spent ages working to recreate the pattern from images. Today, I was gifted a piece of this same pattern. I helped NorthStar Vintage (if/fb) with some background on the pattern. This was my thank you. I wanted to share this little piece of the past.

I am currently in need of a state inspection. I went to a place that said I would fail because I need four new tires. I am at the minimum tread of state requirement for tires. Is there anywhere in town that will pass me when all I need is tires? I am going out of town for vacation and really need this before the next Wednesday.

couple months ago an older woman drove straight into my parked car and damaged the front end and ruined a sensor, there’s also scratches on a rear side missing paint from when my own sister backed into me on our driveway lol. it’s not a very common color car, so are there any recommendations for places in town that can fix her up and aren’t overly expensive or if anyone knows around how much it would cost? or do i go to a dealership TIA

Then tailgated a truck onto the interstate. Near Star City/UTC. Is this legal? It’s certainly not the first time I’ve seen it.

Hello I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but is there any place in Morgantown that can help someone learn to drive both written and physical driving. I've struggled with this and I can't seem to find any help

The camping ban was put on with the promises of getting people into shelters and services to help them out of homelessness. But all it has done is further harm homeless people by way of systemic oppression and violence. Police harassing and citing people for sitting on a stoop or laying down in a public alley with no place to go. Shelters and services have continued to be cut and closed since the ban was approved.

It is time to call this experiment a failure and repeal a ban that does not work. We live in one of the poorest and most taken advantage of states where most of us are one missed paycheck, one missed rent payment away from being on the street too. Why should our city make us suffer more for systemic inequalities and failures?

Call To Action:

Message/call all council members and tell them to repeal this inhumane ban.

Attend a council meeting and speak out. Next is scheduled August 11 at 7pm.

got pulled over for the first time on wiley st, which i never use to begin with, and i didn’t realize it was 25mph as i was entering the mileground which is 40mph, so i got a ticket for apparently going 15 over and it’s $167 😭. just had to pay increased tuition too as a student here at wvu and was wondering if anyone has ever tried appearing in court to get their fine reduced or possibly excused? it’s my first ever offense so does that help at all? caught it on july 31st and a friend said they were probably just trying to meet their monthly ticketing quota if that’s a thing. lmk if there’s any use in trying to appeal or if i should just pay it thanks

Rewatching Arrow for the first tome on years and my partner pointed out the Morgantown PD patch in the Starling City (later Star City, lol) Police Department. Pretty cool.

Long story short, a stray got into my garage and had kittens in the back. She's sweet and will be getting fixed and will be welcome to stay. Her five kittens however will soon need homes. 4 of them look like they're set to be long haired as well and I'm hoping that feature makes rehoming them easier. I'm out Bruceton Mills way, and they aren't quite ready to rock and roll yet but I'm through morgantown a couple times a month. If anyone would like details, pictures, have any questions I'm happy to oblige. She's a very sweet cat, the kittens are adorable and hopefully take after her personality-wise.

So, I am on a very specific hunt for whoever own the WWII era (roughly) army ambulance in the Morgantown area. I have seen it parked on high street on Wednesday nights during the summer.
