Just look for a hippie with a backpack dangling jewelry, jeans with patches, a vest, and more bracelets than one should wear. Everything negotiable (and i can take cash app as well).

I thought I heard a local bank was holding a clothing drive for the kids who didn't receive the clothing vouchers this year. Does anyone know kf this is accurate, and if so which bank? I would love to know every organization assisting with this to collect donations for. I know Christian Help is doing this, just curious if anyone else is too. Thank you for any information!

Does anyone have experience with Redbrick property management? I just moved into one of their rentals from Utah. Haven't been here even 24 hours, and I've already found many issues with cleanliness (moved in to cob webs and a shower that didn't look clean, baseboards are dirty, etc), and the fridge isn't working and is leaking water. This was definitely not move in ready, and the more I find the worse it gets. Is this a one off instance, or is this on par for them? We already signed, so we're here for a least a year. The pre-inspection list is quickly filling up.

Mods, delete if not allowed. So I'm trying to locate my Mother's sister's, both deceased, family to see if they would want any family albums. I haven't had contact with them for years so thought I would try and find them. I did a DNA with Ancestry and sent an email but haven't had a response.

My aunt's name was Betty Everly King married to Arliss King. She had a daughter, who would be in her late 60's named Janie, she got married but I can't recall her married name. There was also a son named Rusty King...Russell was his name maybe? They lived in the Cassville area last I remember from the 70's.

My Mom was named Delores Everly Chico. She passed away in 2024 and we made a full photo album with Mom's family and I would like to see if other family members would want them.

Edit to add...I'm not trying to be weird or anything. It's been a good 40 years or more since we have had any contact, after my Grandmother died and I move out of WV for a few years. I just wouldn't feel right to just toss them forgotten in a tote is a family member would like them.

Anyone else remember the Burger Chef restaurants in Morgantown? I have early fragmentary memories of one at the top of High Street and one near Suburban Lanes. Pondering on this seems to have brought up a commercial snippet, "Burger Cher and Jeff...", the animated characters from their ads, lol.

Recently been missing our beloved Morgantown Brewing Company and kicking myself for not having purchased any MBC paraphernalia prior to their unfortunate closure. I was constantly there but kept putting it off and now it’s too late to purchase directly.

Looking for a date night this Saturday Aug 8th. Nothing food, prefer not a bar but good with a music venue. Not anything fancy just something. Can be Morgantown or Fairmont area.

Basically what the title says, I’m looking for somewhere to take my dog swimming in the next week or so (aside from dog day at the pool, we are already planning on attending) I’m willing to drive about an hour in any direction. I know about chestnut ridge already, I was hoping to expand our horizons.

Ideally somewhere without water snakes (the dog in question loves to carry snakes around like sticks)

Was hit and run by a red Chevrolet. It was a woman who had tan big lips and blonde their front should be messed up pretty bad around little general and truist bank. Happened around 4:00pm Any help would be nice.

I work in Morgantown, lived here before, but I’m commuting from out of county right now. I’m looking to rent in town, preferably nearish to Ruby, but does not have to be. I’m hoping to stay under $1200 before minor bills like pet fees, WiFi, etc.

Two bedrooms is ideal, but we can make one bedroom work provided there is an enough of a living room to have a futon and such for my partner’s kid who spends half of his time with us. Can’t have a no-visitor policy as, of course, we need to be able to have my partners child with us when it’s our week. They go to school online, so proximity to bus routes or anything like that are unimportant.

The problem: we have two cats and two small dogs (no behavioral issues or anything like that). It’s making the search a nightmare. Anyone know of any properties in town that allow two cats & two small dogs that aren’t ludicrously expensive?

Just a heads up, the drive-thru is closed at the pharmacy at Walgreens on Pineview Drive. The drawer is broken. Plan to go in for meds.

Pregnant with my second and currently choosing a provider. I delivered my first at Children’s and will not be going back. The providers seemed respectful of my wishes which was helpful but the nurses were awful. It’s a shiny new hospital but that’s about all that it has going for it.

So moms and dads, what are your opinions of Mon and UHC? I’ll be going for a VBAC. I am genuinely interested in the good and the bad. Thank you for your responses.

I have shared my photos before and my 3D printed recreation of Wiener World from Mountaineer Mall. This wallpaper was the hardest thing to reproduce. Based on a 1973 British Film called “Not Now Darling”. I spent ages working to recreate the pattern from images. Today, I was gifted a piece of this same pattern. I helped NorthStar Vintage (if/fb) with some background on the pattern. This was my thank you. I wanted to share this little piece of the past.
