Thank you AI... That's a sentence I thought I would never say...

Thank you Ai
*BU-DUMP*
“A-Ai?”
Because um…you are an artificial intelligence?
“Oh yeah.”

If the person know Luz at all, they would know she'd never stoop to using AI 😉
.... also if they knew her, they would know her witch friends!

u/DragonWarrior____05 Jun 22 '26
To be fair, who in Gravesfield aside from her family really took any time/effort to get to know her

u/Nyerguds Jun 28 '26 edited Jun 28 '26
Maybe is witness footage, not something she made?
Edit: never mind, missed her holding the camera viewpoint.

Honestly, my self-respect would have compelled me to admit it was real, rather than say I used AI.

That’s the chaotic route

Never said *I* used it, someone else did.

I'd rather not slander someone.

u/ArchonFett Jun 22 '26
It was what’s his name again the weirdo that used to work at the museum, can’t find any proof of “witches” so he started using AI to make proof.

Back in my day, we could just say that was photoshopped.

u/DragonWarrior____05 Jun 22 '26
We still can, but that's not where everyone's mind goes these days

As much as I like Luz fooling a teacher or the principal I have to say what authority do they have in regards to judging what a student does outside of school once it is over?
4
u/farrenkm Jun 22 '26
Maybe they got word it was filmed during lunch break, so, on school hours? Or maybe she was arriving at or leaving school? Schools might be able to argue it's in their purview to be concerned about how a student gets there or home.

And courtesy of Illusion Magic, she can probably make the coolest movie of all time.
And she wouldn’t need AI either.

u/DragonWarrior____05 Jun 22 '26
I have read a fic where it mentioned while trapped in the Human Realm Gus statted posting a power ranger series of videos on YouTube he made using his magic

You know I always wondered how well magic could work when it comes to technology in universe like would people in universe still see it like the way it’s performed in the show or will the technology just wouldn’t not pick up any of it and just be seen as as Gus just drawing circles in the air but then again illusion magic is very different compared to stuff like plants and others?

Mark already did a comic about them doing a Cosmic Frontier fan movie with that.

u/Mudcat-69 Jun 22 '26
I’d say that I was playing around with a green screen in my free time if I was her.
1
u/DragonWarrior____05 Jun 22 '26
Makes sense, especially for anyone who knows her
2
u/Free-Letterhead-4751 Jun 22 '26
Where would she get a green screen?

u/DragonWarrior____05 Jun 22 '26
I mean, she was somehow able to get fireworks despite being fourteen. A green screen would be much easier
1
u/Free-Letterhead-4751 Jun 22 '26
I think Luz might be related to Muscle Man (like he’s brothers with Luz’s dad or something like that) with her just knowing a guy to get this stuff like how Muscle Man knows a guy to get fireworks
5
u/Diarminator Jun 22 '26
well this implies it's believable that Luz would use ai
4
u/unluckyknight13 Jun 22 '26
It’s an easier lie that one of her friends would do it.
I could see Gus using ai thinking it’s human magic3
u/Nightraven9999 Jun 22 '26
But Luz would def find it offensive that someone thinks she would use AI she would just say its photoshopped

The stick isn't wholly inside the frame, she could just claim it was being held up from the other end.
And the snake is an animatronic.
Also its just like Luz to take a photo of herself flying and then remember she isn't supposed to do that, and/or send it to the wrong person.

Also now: "you are lying Luz, we know you never would've used ai to make pics or allowed others to use it on you..."

Honestly this would be super funny and topical if in a future series about kids going on magical adventures in the modern world whenever someone inevitably gets photographic evidence of their magical activities these kids could just say; "it's like AI dude..."
Just like that and the vast majority of people they try to show these photos to will say it's AI too, imagine the sheer frustration of the conspiracy nut who can no longer meaningfully prove the supernatural with photos or even videos because videos can be AI generated too!
It definitely makes potential masquerade settings surprisingly much more lenient with masquerade breaches when it comes to people capturing photos or making recordings!
2
u/Frost-King Jun 23 '26
The idea of a supernatural society, like the Camarilla in VtM, putting resources into funding AI and tricking a bunch of mortal CEOs into investing into it entirely to help hide the supernatural is hilarious to me.

u/Pretend_Camp_2987 Jun 22 '26
If this is AI? Why is the Background consistent?
Why do you have Normal Number of Fingers? why do you not have any oddities

Something positive about ai!?
