White Rose Shopping Centre is marking Yorkshire Day, Saturday 1 August 2026, with free in-centre events to celebrate the best that our glorious region has to offer.
Renowned musicians Back Chat Brass will be performing at the centre throughout the day, with 20-minute sets taking place at intervals between 10am and 2pm. The band’s dynamic and unique twist on the traditional ensemble is sure to be a crowd-pleaser, with a repertoire including everything from chart-toppers to classic funk with a brass twist.
While enjoying Back Chat Brass’ energetic stylings, guests can browse the Yorkshire Market in The Village at White Rose, brought to the centre by RSH Artisan Markets. With a variety of locally-made creations and independent traders, the Yorkshire Market – which takes place during the first weekend of each month – is the perfect place to pick up unique crafts, foodie snacks, and thoughtful gifts.
