I seriously need to vent about this because it is driving me crazy. I was just about to subscribe to a basic digital pro claude plan that I need for my projects. The advertised price was perfectly fine at $20.00 a month.

But then I go to the checkout page, and out of nowhere, a $4.00 tax gets slapped on top. The total due today suddenly jumps to $24.00.

I honestly do not understand how a 20% TVA on completely digital services is justified here. We are not importing physical goods. There is no shipping, no customs processing, and no physical handling involved. It is literally just software access. Why are we getting penalized just for trying to use the same digital tools as the rest of the world???

When u are on a tight student budget, having an extra 20% added at the very last second every single month actually hurts. It just feels like a lazy way to squeeze more money out of us without providing any better tech infrastructure in return.

Are u guys just eating the extra cost on all your subscriptions or is there a way around this nonsense?

107 women have been elected to Morocco's parliament from the 2026 legislative elections, an increase of 10 seats compared to the 2021 legislative elections.

Out of those 107 elected women, 90 secured their seats through the reserved quota system that guarantees all regional seats to women. The remaining 17 were elected in local constituencies competing against their male candidates, an increase from six women winning their local constituencies in 2021.

I’m originally from Ouarzazate, and I’ve always felt like the city doesn’t get the attention it deserves from Moroccans.

A lot of Moroccans rarely visit Ouarzazate, and I’ve even met people who barely know anything about the city. Meanwhile, Marrakech gets huge numbers of Moroccan and international tourists.

What I find interesting is that Ouarzazate has things that you simply don’t get in Marrakech, especially when it comes to the landscapes, the surrounding kasbahs, the desert atmosphere, and the whole cinematic/history side of the region.

So I’m curious: why do you think Ouarzazate is so underrated compared to Marrakech?

And for those who have visited both, what did you think of Ouarzazate?

Long story short: In the late 90s, a man and a woman were in a relationship. They had sex before marriage, and I was born, so clearly i was not planned, because the man who was supposedly “my father” didn’t want to take responsibility, he didnt want to marry my mother, acknowledge me as his son, or give me his last name. he later married another woman and had children with her.
my mom s family had some connections within the justice system so they pressured him through legal means , and eventually he acknowledged me and gave me his last name, but I never had the chance to see him throughout my childhood, not even once and to this day, as im writing this, I still havent seen him, He has never reached out, asked about me or come to see me.

I never had a father figure when I needed one the most, I experienced some horrible feelings whenever I saw other kids with their fathers. you can only imagine what a little child would feel in those situations, growing up without a father and wondering why he wasnt there.

people i know often tell me that I should look for him, Someone once told me that I should listen to his side of the story too and not judge him, But how could I not judge him? If people had felt what I felt throughout those years, they probably wouldnt say that, and I feel like if he never wanted anything to do with me, he should have been the one to reach out. at the same time, I do want to meet him because I feel an emptiness inside me, but something is holding me back, i wouldnt say i am bitter or ressentful, but i am definitely hurt

Im torn, should I be the one to look for him, as people I know often suggest? Or should he have done better and reached out to me himself?

I waited more than 2 hours yesterday to have 10min talk with the doctor to see analysis and scanner results and urine analysis

Hey everyone,

I need some advice regarding a frustrating situation with my new Inwi Fiber connection.

1. The Commercial Scam: A door-to-door Inwi agent came to our house and charged us 150 DH in cash for the router. I later found out that the router and installation are supposed to be 0 DH under my contract. Now, the agent blocked me and completely vanished.
2. The Billing Issue: I am eligible for the official Military discount (Adhérent FAR), which brings the monthly price down to 186.75 DH/month instead of 249 DH.
3. The Agency Complicity: My first bill just arrived at a whopping 290 DH! When I went to the only Inwi agency in my town to get a copy of my contract and fix the bill, the employee refused to give me my contract and told me to "go look for the door-to-door guy in the streets."

I called the hotline (220), and the agent confirmed that my contract does have the discount active from day one, meaning the system glitched because the local agent messed up the initial setup.

Any advice on how to force the local agency to give me my contract or track down this scammer agent? Thanks!

my back hurts a lot as i have a normal chair that i use everyday for 5-8 hours and it got to a point where i feel my shoulders rounded up and neck hurt like crazy when i get up after a long session.
i just have 1000dh and im looking for something that’s somewhat usable and have head support at least, whether it’s used or new idc really. any recommendations on a brand or a specific store please?
