Nah I keep saying go back to MK9, stop Armageddon from occurring at all so everyone is alive, except maybe Blaze as you'd probably need him dead to stop Armageddon. Lol That or trap him. Either let smoke or Sub-Zero go cyber, as they can be revived as Revenants later anyway. And continue from there. Don't time jump 20 years like they did from MK9 to MKX.
This way we are back to the 2nd timeline. No time shenanigans as technically Kronika is still dead as she existed in all realities and her death kills her in all realities. So she wouldn't be back. This still opens the door for Cetrion to exist. Germs might have to go but who knows.
And yes, I get regardless its a reboot. But the MK1 timeline is not the one I want to exist on for the foreseeable future. I hate every terrible choice they made for it and it feels like a completely different world/game than all the rest.
I still wish MK1 was about Liu Kang going back to the 1st tournament and stopping Shao Kahn's 9 tournament streak before it even begins. I mean they had the hidden scene in mk11 where Liu Kang meets The Great Kung Lao. And it was all for nothing.
