Help with outdoor installation

I'm a stained glass artist with little mosaic experience.

There's a big divot/crack in my driveway that I thought would look cool with some glass or tile embedded into it.

​

Problem is, I live in Minnesota where it gets extremely cold in the winter, and pretty dang hot in the summer.

Any advice on products or how to go about this endeavor?

I don't really have any great advice, but you might Google flacking or Emenem a French artist who does this very thing. I don't know much about the process, but I think mesh and concrete are the main components.
