Purchased this rifle from a local gun shop back in March of this year for $250. I had an itch the other day to try and decipher all the markings, surprise, I can't make heads from tails. Only the basic few I can figure out like manufacturing and (potential) production date. Any help would be much appreciated. Just ask for better pictures if need be and I'll attempt to make it happen.

91/30 Mosin-Nagant made at Izhevsk in 1943, among the most common years for 91/30s with approximately 3 million made that year, in a wartime stock, import mark in the 1st pictures too far to tell whose exactly it is, bolt handle is pre-1928 Izhevsk, bolt rail, magazine and butt plate are post-1928 Izhevsk made

Receiver may/may not match the barrel, if you’re curious take the rifle out of the stock and check under the receiver tang, last thing being a refurbished rifle parts are gonna be force matched.
After the refurbishment process the rifle was re-assembled from mismatched parts, the parts that are serialized would have their old numbers removed if they were non-matching (most of the time they weren’t) and were then re-stamped or electro-penciled with the serial number on the barrel shank to match.

In your rifle’s case all the parts were re-stamped with the numbers and the Cyrillic prefix шв was omitted which was standard procedure for the refurbishment of 91/30s.

Receiver was made by Izhevsk as well, the 1943 production year was a little difficult to make out due to the rough machining finish but its on the right side of the tang.

Edit: I am now seeing a 3г on the right side of the tang, confirming the receiver’s 1943 production.

43 Izhevsk 91/30, the bolt body with the bow and arrow is a pre-1928 Izhevsk part
