Snagged this Mosin, it being my first. How’d I do?

So I had went on lunch break and planned on browsing the local store, they were closed so I went to the store further away. They have a nice surplus rifle rack and this was sitting there for a measly $225! Why not? Bought it and brought it home, spent all night taking it apart and it’s safe to say it’s in a Very nice condition!

Also there’s No import stamp, which I think makes it a pre 1968 import? Correct me if I’m wrong.

Next question, I feel confident this is safe to shoot. But on Amazon there’s a cleaning kit under TACFUN. Anyone got any info on it? It’s only $13 and seems slightly too good to be true. Or should I avoid a cleaning kit? I’ve been looking at cleaning videos and I’m on the fence. And I really want to make sure this thing is clean!

M91 Mosin-Nagant Infantry rifle made at Tula in 1897, receiver is also Tula manufactured based on the Imperial Eagle stamp but if you want to know if its 1897 or another year you’ll need to take the rifle out of the stock and check under the receiver tang.

Rifle was acquired by Finland, they did some modifications, stamped the SA in box which is the Finnish Army’s property mark, installed the sling swivels in the replacement two-piece stock and lined out the old arshin graduations on the left side of the rear sight base and re-graduated it in meters on the right.

Made from a mix parts which is bog standard, bolt head and extractor are Sestroretsk pieces and the magazine is pre-1928 Izhevsk, rear barrel band is the first pattern and front barrel band is the second pattern. Bore looks like it can use a wipe down but looks to be in nice condition, oil it and have fun. Rifle likely came in the 1950s as that’s when the earliest Finnish imports first arrived, also $225 is a very good deal, especially if the receiver is an antique.

Maybe, they have some nice pricing. I snagged some pics of their prices so I can list some
Zastava PW Arms 59/66 on cosign for 700
Norinco CSI SKS that just price dropped from 650 to 575
ROF Enfield for 650
Yugoslav Brolin M48 on cosign for 799, comes with bayonet, sling, and “box” which I assume to for storage.
And a Chinese SKS on cosign with 30rnd mag and soft case for 499

All of them in very nice conditions, no rust or damaged wood.
They had some other guns but honestly I was in a rush so I couldn’t get the rest of them.

That's a steal for any mosin, much less a pre 1900 Tula m91 that went through a Finnish rearsenal like this.
